Semua Bab The Forsaken: Bab 21 - Bab 30

"Who is he again?" Thaila asks as she goes to stand behind me as Atlas steps into the room, and Shaun follows in his steps. How do I introduce him? As a fellow werewolf, a future Alpha, like that would mean anything to her, or my ... whatever that he is friend or soulmate. "This is Atlas, and the one behind him is Shaun." She watches them carefully, inspecting every movement and the way they breathe. "Are they... like you?" A long answer to that would be no, there are layers that differentiate us. Atlas is of Alpha blood, born to be a leader. Shaun is a Beta, second in command. And then there is me, an Omega. If it weren't for the soulmate bond Atlas claims we have, the two of us would never co-exist in the same space. But in the end, you could say we are all in fact, werewolves. "Yes, we are also werewolves," Atlas answers as they shine their eyes and Thaila takes a step forward, the curiosity must have gotten the better of her. "Where are we going? I thought we would stay here u

"How could you be so reckless Atlas? I explicitly told you to stay on the grounds and you took the first opportunity to run away again. You are not an Alpha yet, you are my son and you listen to me as not only your mother but as your Luna." Atlas just stood in front of his mother as she was lecturing him, he didn't say a word and let her talk while I stood here. "Do you think about my reputation in front of the other wolves? Why should they listen to me if my son disobeys my orders?" I dont understand why is he not trying to defend himself, the only reason he left the pack was because of me. To help me. "Turning a human into a werewolf is the dumbest decision you could have made, you are about to take the role of the leader for your pack and you should be one to set an example for others. There is a reason why humans can't survive the transition, the fact that this one made it so far doesn't mean she will live past the full moon and then we will have a dead body on our hands." What doe

"You can go now, Shaun. I'll take it over from here." I say as I walk over to my room door and Shaun gets up from one of the chairs. He obviesly needs rest, just like the rest of us. And a shower, driving next to a cat with a bloody girl in your lap combined with the sweat from the fighting was giving him quite the reek. "Jeffrey got her something to eat, I didn't go inside so you should check if she ate anything." I nod my head and he looks at me with a question on his mind. "What is it? I can tell you want to ask me something." Shaun looks at Atlas's door as he doubts if he should open his mouth. "It may not be my place to meddle, but after everything Atlas did for you, helped you rescue your friend, stood by you even against his mother... dont you think he deserves a little affection from you? I mean not everyone can offer you the title of the next pack Luna. Especially to someone as ordinary as you." He says it with such a straight face that I just dont know how to feel about hi

Atlas's POV"I have to go, Atlas. Thaila is waiting for me." Kaya says as she backs away and I dont stop her allowing her to walk out of my room and close the door leaving me standing alone as her scent still spreads in my arms. "Why did you let her go?" Sky asks as he jumps to his feet. I'm still having a hard time getting used to him being outside of my head. "Sky, I am trying my best to give her some space. As much as I want to claim her I don't want to push her too much, it will only drive her further away." Besides she is dealing with a lot of things right now and I dont want her to add me to the list of her problems. "Then what do you plan on doing? The Alpha ceremony is close and it is the perfect opportunity to announce her as you Luna. It will certainly drive away any potential wolves that get any funny ideas." Sky is referring to Jake, I could smell his testosterone hormone going off the charts with her but she would never see him as a possibility. How could she? The Moon

The nightfall in this town was very enchanting as the last light of day faded revealing the twinkling stars on the black velvet sky. The moonlight added that bit of a magic touch that made the night mystic yet at the same time calm and secure for all the werewolves. This was the town that never feared the dark because the Moon Goddess made sure her children always had at least a small bit of her guiding light. One of her children needed her light now more than ever as the wind blew so hard it made the curtains in Kayla's room fly so high that the white fabric almost seemed like ghosts. The white glow shined over Kayas sleeping body as a voice called out to her, "Kaya...". Kaya's eyes opened, and for the first time in her human form they shined red yet Kaya was not awake. "Kaya..."The voice continued as she stood up from the bed, her red eyes wide open and there wasn't so much as a blink happening. It seemed she was in a trance, just standing on the moon's light when Thaila was roughly
