~Celine~The ray of the sun found its way into my room through my window, hitting my sleepy face. “Uhm.” I groaned, turning to my side so I could avoid the intense brightness I could feel under my eyelids. My eyes slightly opened as I stared at the wall. At first, my vision was blurry, but then I blinked several times until I could get a clearer vision. Memories of the previous night came running down my memory lane, making me roll my eyes. Kiara made me do what I didn’t want. It was indeed pleasurable, I enjoyed it. But, if I had my way, he wouldn’t have marked me so soon. While I thought about it, I recalled we fell asleep cuddling, but now, I couldn’t feel him close to me anymore. I turned to my right to look at him, only to find out I was alone on the bed. He was nowhere to be found. “Alpha Kilhan?!” I called, looking at the door to my bathroom, hoping he was going to answer from inside there or come out, but I was wrong. Everywhere was silent. “Where the hell is he?” I m

~Celine~“Hey, baby, wake up. We are here.” I heard Alpha Kilhan’s voice from afar, causing me to groan in frustration. I was having the best nap of my life and he decided to ruin it. “C’mon, Jessica. You can continue sleeping inside, okay? I bet your neck hurts from sleeping here.” He added, unbuckling the seat belt that held me to the chair. “Hmm… fine,” I responded, finally opening my eyes. His face was very close to mine, and he kept smiling sweetly at me. “Welcome back.” He teased, causing me to roll my eyes and playfully push him away. I smiled softly as I raised my head to look at his mansion. I lifted my eyebrows as I was completely mesmerized by the beauty of his house. It wasn’t only big, but painted in white. The window and door frame were coated in gold glitter. I knew I shouldn’t expect something less. Before I could get out of the car, I saw some men, about six of them, rush out of the large door of the house, taking long strides towards us. “What’s happening?” I

~Alpha Kilhan~ After the dinner party, my pack members showed Jessica around the house, while I headed to my office. I needed to tidy my table in case she wanted to check out the office too. My wolf and I felt great excitement until my gaze fell on that big envelope. The one my private investigator gave to me. My mood changed completely as I took it in my hand and stared at it. ‘I can’t wait to get over this case once and all.’ I thought. I wanted to get to the bottom of his death and avenge his death as soon as possible, so I could focus on my life with Jessica. But tonight, I wasn’t going to let it ruin my mood. The night was all about my mate, and nothing was going to change that. I kept the envelope between some files on my shelf. While I did this, I heard the office door open. I looked back and saw Betty walk in, wearing a wide smile. “Betty,” I called, reciprocating her smile. “Congratulations. I don’t think I’ve personally said that to you.” She uttered, walking up to m

~Celine~ A grin crept up my face as I stared at Alpha Kilhan while he slept. Last night was a blast. We didn’t fall asleep until the early hours of this morning. ‘I should let him rest well. I have things to do.’ I thought, recalling what Betty did to me at my welcome party. ‘She needs to learn never to do that to me.’ Slowly and carefully, I got out of Alpha Kilhan’s bed and headed out of his room. Bursting into the hallway, I met two of the omegas walking towards my direction. As soon as they saw me, they lowered their heads. I lowered my head too and walked past them before they moved from where they stood. I was just getting used to the respect I got from every one of them. I got to my room’s door and turned to grab the door knob, when someone suddenly tapped me from behind. I jolted and turned back to see Betty grinning stupidly behind me. ‘Really?!’ I thought in disgust, wondering why she was smiling at me. Nothing is funny. Not when she’s around. I shot her a stern loo

~Alpha Kilhan~ While I was busy with some paperwork in my office, I heard a knock on my door, followed by the voice of my bodyguard. “Alpha Kilhan, Jarius is here to see you.” He said, and immediately, I sprang to my feet. “Let him in,” I answered in a loud voice, abandoning everything I was doing and walking to the sitting area. The door opened and he walked in with a large envelope in his hand. “Alpha Kilhan.” He greeted me with a slight bow. “Jarius. I’m happy to see you again. I wasn’t expecting to see you today.” I answered, gesturing for him to the couch in front of me. “It was never in my plan to come today, but after seeing this, I couldn’t help myself.” He responded, stretching the envelope towards me. I collected it and immediately began to open it. “So you found out who Tima Maria is?” I asked with my eyes glued to the envelope. “Yes, and just like I suspected, it was made up. Her real name is Ashley Grayson, she once lived in New York until the very day she left fo
