Catherine's POV. The drive home was one of the sluggest ever like I was literally dying and shifting uncomfortably in the car. Lucas didn't come to pick me up as usual and I felt truly bad about the whole thing. I was frankly expecting him, I wanted to show him the video the minute I saw him and probably get a good kiss... That kiss I've been dying for. When I came out of the school and saw a purple car instead of the normal red one, I knew instantly that he wasn't the one. I tried to hide my disappointment but I could not, I was really expecting Lucas but the driver came instead and that's enough to make me miserable. Grabbing my phone from the bag, I began to deliberate whether to text him or not. It won't hurt my pride if I text him but I held back because he must be having something important to do. I'll wait for him at home, he'll definitely come and this time, I'll be ready and waiting for him. Immediately the car halted in front of the villa, I sprinted out and skipped all

Catherine's POV. I stomped all the way to my room, my heart heavy and eyes clouded with tears I wouldn't let drop. ‘He did it to protect you.’ A voice rang in my head but I just scoffed and opened the door leading to my room. Did it to protect me?… Oh yeah, but he also made me look for something he was pretty sure I would not get. Gosh! I could kill him in many different ways now and make it look like suicide. He's such a jerk! A crazy male Jezebel! "Silly me, thinking of getting something so out of reach and so impossible, well, everything is sorted out now, I know my limits now and I'll never try to cross them but that still doesn't make him a lesser jerk." I mused to myself before dropping on the bed and finally giving the tears freedom to fall from my eyes. I didn't make any sound, I just sat there and let the tears drop, once they're gone, I'll go to the bathroom and wash off... Wash his thoughts away from me and wash his touch off my body.I guess it was for the best, li

Catherine's POV."Should I help you?" I asked shyly, referring to the huge bulge on his trousers and he just chortled."I want you badly Red but tonight isn't about me, it's all about you, love." He said softly and my body reacted."Ohh... But I can help you." I cooed, trying to sound brave."I know you can help me hun but not today, you have lectures tomorrow and I want you to have a good rest, don't wish to tire you out." He enunciated and I lowered my head before rubbing my legs mildly together. Gosh! How do I tell him I'm still horny? I know it sounds ludicrous but it's been years since I had a man, after birthing my twins, I only focused on them and nothing else matters. Men came to me, especially with the way my body developed after birth but I was too focused on my kids to even give them a look. I thought I'd never have such wild feelings again but here I am, having it and more. Lauren made me go wild but with Lucas... Fuck! I don't know what I feel about him, he's just ev

Catherine's POV. "Oh my God!" A student let out a screech that echoed through the empty hall.Yeah...oh Lord!Oh God!"Si... Sir." I stuttered, my eyes fixed on the man who was looking at me with a rigid expression, standing beside him was Sam, he was looking shocked as well, and I was horrified too."Class dismissed." The man's deep voice resonated through the hall and I immediately heard shuffling sounds. I dare not look back, my eyes were fixed on him, my heart thumping angrily against my ribcage because I didn't know what was going on.He just dismissed class... He's... Oh my! He's a lecturer! The professor... Yeah, the professor... Mr. Liam, Sam's father. We were supposed to have his class today and because of the stories I've heard about him, I was looking forward to meeting him for the first time but as my terrible luck would have it, I emptied my drink on him. How can my beautiful morning get ruined like this?! "Sir… I'm so... I'm really...""Shhh, calm down." He hushed me

Lucas's POV"Wait... Please wait." She pleaded, trying to draw to a halt but I wouldn't listen, I can not listen, she's hurt, she's bleeding and she's asking me to wait!"Lucas!" She screeched and forced me to a halt, we were in an open space and I'm sure many eyes were staring at us but I just didn't care."What is it Red hair?" I asked, turning to look at her without letting go of her hand. There's no way I'm gonna let her go, she might probably run and I am not in the mood to chase her around the compound. "Wait, let me explain everything to you." She said and her mouth bleed the more.Gosh! Who could have done this to her?"Yeah, you have a lot of explaining to do but first, come, I'll treat your mouth," I muttered, trying hard not to snap.I walked to my car, opened the front seat, and sat her in the passenger seat. She looked very lost and I could not ignore the fear in her eyes.Going to the back door, I opened it and reached for the first aid kit before going back to her. E
