Lahat ng Kabanata ng The King Alpha’s Mate: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Before me stood my deliciously handsome mate. The speed of my heart rate dramatically increased as I took in his appearance. There he was, in all his glory, the King himself. His velvety, black tailored suit fit him perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. His fitted shirt was crisp white and was complimented with a black bow tie. His raven locks were brushed neatly to the side, but his hair or suit wasn’t the centre of attention. His imperial crown sat perfectly on his head, demonstrating his importance and status. It had white fur lining, which supported the solid gold frame that had aquamarine stones dotted around the core before growing into a solid gold cross in the centre. Two studded arches rose from the sides of the gold frame, meeting in the centre of the cross. The crown was finalised with aquamarine lining from the gold frame up to the centre of the cross. He looked magnificent… breathtaking. His eyes fixated on mine and I almost choked on my own

My eyes widened as dominance consumed Nate. He chucked the handcuff sets on the bed before stepping closer to me. “Stand up” he demanded. As if my legs had a mind of their own, I rose from the bed and stood before him. “Turn around”. I did as asked and turned to face the bed, with my back towards him. He ran his fingers down my arms, leaving goosebumps where he trailed. He reached for one side of my hair, before moving it across to the other side and leaving one shoulder bare. I felt his lips press against the back of my neck, forcing me to let out a gasp at the surprise touch, before he trailed kisses along the top of my shoulder. He placed a hand on my exposed thigh from the slit of my dress and seductively ran it up my leg. I rested the back of my head against his chest as I enjoyed the sensations of his touch. A pool of wetness began to form between my legs as he lent down to my ear. The feeling of his hot breath against my skin had the

It had been a five days since the social, where Nate announced I was his mate and the future Queen. All but a select few were still completely oblivious to my fae heritage and we intended to keep it that way for as long as possible. I spent Saturday morning exploring the castle grounds and getting to know members of the Royal Court with Nate, before heading into the local town with Maddie and Amber. It had felt amazing to leave the academy and participate in your average teenage girl activities, such as shopping and gossiping with your best friends. We had found the perfect dresses for the spring dance in two weeks time and I couldn’t wait for my handsome mate to rip it off me. We also found Maddie the cutest dress for her picnic with Joe later that night, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Originally, I hadn’t been too excited for the dance. What was there to be excited about when I couldn’t dance with a date like the rest of my friends? At the time, no one knew Nate was

Horror flicked in Nate’s eyes for a moment, as reality sunk in. I jumped off Nate’s lap and ran to the window, desperate to get an understanding of what could be happening.Dread emerges in my gut as I watch young pups frantically run into their dorms, with terrified looks on their faces. The sound of their worried screams filled my ears.Nate grabs my wrist and pulls me to him, before cupping my cheeks in his hands.“I need you to stay here, do you understand?” His voice remained calm but I could see this panic in his eyes.“No, Nate I can help!” I exclaimed. He shook his head, disapproving my idea.“No, absolutely not. Serena, if anything happened to you it would kill me. I need to go handle this without worrying where you are or if you’re okay, please stay here”.“Nate, I-” I began to protest.“Promise me!” His eyes burned through me, as he desperately grasped my face.“I promise” I frowned. He let out a breath and crashed his lips onto mine, kissing me with every bit of strength h

Nate stumbled from the force of my push, as he looked back at me with a confused expression. Only, I didn’t have his attention for long as a loud snarl erupted behind him.Nate’s head span as he turned to face the oncoming rogue. His eyes widened as reviewed the unexpected attacker.“I’ve just put him down” Nate growled. His eyes turned black in fury, as he prepared to take it on once more. “Stay back, Serena”.“Let me help!” I exclaimed.“No, stay back” Nate insisted, before quickly jumping in front of me.I looked ahead at the injured wolf heading our way. He was tired and the pain from his leg was bothering him, but his eyes told me he was fuelled by anger and he wasn’t giving up as easy as Nate had hoped.Panic soared through me. I couldn’t allow Nate to be hurt. I had to do something, but what? My actions were limited by the Nate shaped bollard in front of me, keeping me close behind him.Sophia and John had left, and now it was just me and Nate. I knew Nate didn’t necessarily ne
