Lerisa got into her bedroom and called Remy's phone line to thank him for taking her out and helping her secure a job in a new telecommunication company."Hello," Lerisa said as soon as the phone call connected."Yeah, good evening babe," Remy replied."I really appreciate your help earlier today, after seeing Anthony there at the roadside. Anthony just couldn't mind his own business," Lerisa said while explaining to Remy in his office that Anthony was still against her dating him."Don't mind Anthony. He is only being childish. What's his business with you, and why can't he keep his distance?" Remy inquired, sounding annoyed."I don't know. Can you believe that I also saw Anthony in his car at my father's house gate after I had arrived home. I fear that Anthony may show up at my father's house gate tomorrow again to disturb me. He keeps on saying that I am his sister, and I have told him that we are unrelated several times.""Hmm, Anthony wouldn't dare. He isn't that jobless, so you d

"How are you doing today?" Anthony inquired of Benita. The time was 6 pm when Anthony was through inspecting his house and he stood beside his sleek black car to know where Benita was."I am fine, I am at home. How was work today? I am sorry for not showing up at the company today," Benita said, sounding calm on the phone."It's alright. I understand your compliant. But that doesn't mean that you should be avoiding to call or you shouldn't request to see me. You can always come to the company to visit me if you want to," Anthony said, and Benita responded, "Okay. I will keep that in mind. Maybe by Friday, as I still would like to rest throughout this week, and until the weekend.""Hmm, so can we see? I want us to meet somewhere special. I am still processing all that you have said to me," Anthony said, and Benita replied, "Alright. Do you want to meet with me today?""Yes. Or are you not free for us to hang out? I want to show you something, and I am serious about the two of us getting

"Nothing. I was just thinking that I hadn't expected you to purchase the house so quick. Are you truly serious about marrying me? Don't you think that it's too early for us to marry and settle down as a couple now?" Benita inquired once more, and Anthony could sense that she didn't want to marry him."What's wrong, babe? Don't you want to marry me?" Anthony asked finally. The look of hurt flashing in his eyes, and Benita quickly replied, "No. Don't get me wrong, Anthony. I was only thinking that we haven't dated for long for us to settle down quickly. I mean, we were supposed to still date for at least six months plus to determine if we can be compatible. I don't know if you are understanding what I mean."Anthony looked at Benita in disbelief. He sighed and looked away from her. His mother was right, no lady should pressure him into moving out of his parents' house and buying a house compulsorily for her."It's okay if you don't want to marry me. You can leave," Anthony said, turning

The following day, Benita arrived at L.H Group to Anthony in his office. She had simply forgotten that James had resumed working in L.H Group.James didn't take over Lerisa's office as Anthony's secretary. He was posted to the financial team to work with them, and there he learned about Benita's affairs with Anthony.James was disappointed to learn that Benita and Anthony were having an affair before she left. Most of the staff also didn't know why Benita left L.H Group. Some had thought maybe Anthony did something wrong to Benita or cheated on her, but none of the staff working in the accounting office could give an account of why Benita left.As Benita arrived at L.H Group, she hadn't thought of seeing James. She was stunned, so she quickly came up with a lie as James met her on the third floor."Benita, what are you doing here?" James asked. He wore a white shirt and black pants as he approached Benita.Benita wore a cream-colored short skirt and blue top, paired with her black purs

Lerisa met her mother as soon as she walked into the living room. "Good evening Mom," Lerisa greeted."Welcome, Lerisa. How was work today, and your friend, Remy?" Mrs. Antonia asked, as she was already familiar with Lerisa working with Remy and Remy also showing interest in Lerisa."It was fine, Mom. Remy invited me to attend his parents' wedding anniversary tomorrow," Lerisa said."Oh, that's nice. He's such a kind man, so when will he be coming here officially to marry you?" Mrs. Antonia questioned Lerisa as she was sitting on the living room couch alone, and already through with preparing their dinner."Mom...." Lerisa frowned. "I don't know yet," she added."You should. That's fine. I have already finished preparing dinner, I was just waiting for you and James to return home.""Okay, Mother. Let me go inside and freshen up. I will be back to join you," Lerisa said, and she quickly walked into the corridor and went to her room."Marriage? I don't think I can accept Remy. What's wro
