I was now seated by the cafe where the driver dropped me waiting for Loren. I still couldn’t believe that Clinton just wanted me as his pleasure toy, nothing serious. I was in public so by all means I avoided shedding tears. “Jessie!” Loren, in her lively mood as usual, shouted my name as she hugged me. “I’ve missed you so much,” she pouted her lips as she sat across from me. “I’ve missed you too.” I said and waited for her to settle.

Lee had just slapped me, I gasped “did you just hit me?” “Babe, I’m sorry.. I didn't mean to.. I walked to the mirror and spotted the bruise his hand left. I didn’t realize I was crying until tears rolled on my cheeks.  I quickly wiped them off, I was not going to cry over this — sure it was painful. 

I woke up to a familiar environment, everything was white and with the posters on the wall I knew I was at the hospital.  I couldn’t move as I somehow felt heavy, my eyes looked around the room until they spotted a figure sleeping on the couch — Clinton. I recognized him due to his hair. “Clinton,” I said in a lowly tone, he seemed to be fast asleep. My eyes took in the surroundings. That's when a woman dressed in a nursing uniform came in with a reporting notepad. “Good morning Mrs Clinton, how are you feeling today?” She greeted me with a warm smile and checked my temperature and recorded something.
