Chapter 21
Stormie I was stunned for a minute and then I yanked myself from his arms. I looked up into his lust filled eyes and then jumped him, my hands going around his neck and my legs wrapping around his very naked waist. We both groaned as his hands came around to cup my ass holding my weight up like it was nothing. I felt him walking as our tongues fought for dominance and then the rough bark of a tree against my back made me gasp. I sucked in a deep breath of air while he began kissing and licking his way down my neck and across my shoulder. My mind was lost as he began rubbing his body against mine. Until suddenly the sound of my brothers voices poured over me like an icy waterfall dousing the flames that had been burning. I pulled Tristan's head up to place his forehead againt mine. 'My brothers are calling,' I linked to him, staring deep into his eyes. He growled and closed his eyes briefly, tightening his arms around me. 'If we don't go now they'll come looking for us,' I

Chapter 22
Tristan Stormie's plan was a good one and so that's what we did. Once everyone was cleaned up and packed we were on the road. I got stuck with Cristella again but thankfully all of the stress today had her sleeping rather quickly into the trip. I was able to doze on and off though my thoughts and my dreams stayed with Stormie. We hadn't had a moment alone since our kiss in the forest and I was craving her. Once we stopped to drop Alton off with some of the warriors at the first pack I called the other alpha to let him know that we would be arriving this afternoon instead to have rooms ready for us and that I needed him to move up the time of the celebration to the afternoon instead of the evening as planned. I explained that we had run into some issues and that our itenerary was only to be shared with those who absolutely needed to know. At the border we dropped Matthew and the others leaving just a handful of guards and Arkin, Aerick and Stormie with us. Once at the pack

Chapter 23
Stormie It was even better than I had imagined. Now I could see why my brothers were constantly looking for a partner. Even my wolf was satiated this morning. As the sun was rising, I laid there running my fingers through his hair as he slept, his naked body wrapped tightly around mine the sheet thrown over both of us. I hated the thought of having to leave him but knew that all hell would break loose if we were found like this before my birthday. My heart was as full as ... well as full as other parts had been last night. The first time we made love he had taken it slow, letting my body adjust to the size of his, both of us exploring. The second and third times had been more frenzied, and a battle of dominance between us, though we were very lucky that no one else apparently heard those as we ended up knocking over the lamp and a few other things around the room. And this last time was a sensual tease with me riding him to our completion. I had never felt so physically

Tristan We were all standing in the hall once again waiting on a woman. But this time it wasn't Cristella, who was shuffling noisly next to me. It was Stormie, which apparently surprised everyone. Arkin knocked on her door again, growling out to her "Stormie, I swear if you don't come out right this instant-" "Go," I heard her call out. "I'll be there in a few." He grumbled some more but ushered everyone down the stairs. I wondered briefly what was taking her so long but felt Cristella take my arm and begin to pull me away. We had just been served dinner when the doors opened and there stood a vision that almost stopped my heart. You could almost hear a pin drop in the room before the buzz of gossip began. Stormie floated in the room, a blush creeping up her neck as she moved to stand her in place. 'You are truly a vision,' I linked her as our eyes met briefly, the blush on her cheeks darkening slightly. I could feel the eyes on interest on her from the room and had to co

Chapter 25
Stormie I didn't think that it could get any better but I was wrong. Last night or should I say this morning with Tristan was ... amazing. Mind blowing. Primal even. I'd had him leave the balcony doors open when he left a little while ago so the room could air out. I also lit the candles that were around the room letting the scent was out the smell of our love making. And that's what it was. There was no way it could be anything else I thought as I stepped out of the shower. I figured everyone else would be up soon as we had a quick tour here before the party this afternoon. I hoped we could get this rogue stuff figured out soon so we could focus on other things. I had just walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my hair and my body when my door burst open. My brothers - including the Elite- were all piling into the room singing happy birthday. Arkin even held a stack of pancakes with a candle and I couldn't help but laugh. 'Let me get dressed real quick.

Chapter 26
Tristan I couldn't even begin to explain how I felt. My wolf just kept whimpering in my head everytime her sad eyes met mine. I wasn't even sure how it was possible to feel so much for someone who turned out to not be my mate. Sure I'd had some physical relationships before Stormie - but they were just that. I'd never felt for them the way I feel for her. I watched her hand clasp around the necklace I'd gotten her and sighed. Thankfully the night was coming to an end as I said my thanks and goodbyes to the alpha and luna here. I had only told Cristella that we were traveling tonight not that we would be making a stop along the way and hoped that she would fall asleep. I'd really wanted a few minutes alone with Stormie but I honestly don't know what I'd say. I still felt undeniably drawn to her. We loaded up the cars and one of the Elite rode with us. About 30 minutes in, after listening to Cristella once again babble on I was in need of a drink. Luckily the Elite that

Chapter 27
Stormie I hadn't be ready to face him yet. Even now I wasn't sure. My heart ached for him and the only thing clearer now was that it'd all be over in 5 days. Well I guess actually 1 as he'd be on plane home tomorrow and then a few days after that I'd be back home with my pack. I knew that this trip we were on wasn't permanent and that our time together would eventually come to an end, but after that first kiss a part of me thought this must be what mates feel. I didn't sleep much last night because my mind wouldn't shut off. Luckily I had no problem sleeping in the car and was able to pass off my look as just being tired. I could tell my brothers were skeptical, but let me be. We arrived not long after noon. The alpha was ready and waiting for us in front of the pack house - apparently my father called him this morning. Arkin and Tristan nodded in understanding though I saw Arkin's eyes dart towards Cristella. I made things easier and just linked the alpha 'Alpha Fredr

Tristan Goddess. If that damn pup kept making eyes at Stormie I was going to rip them from his face. I rolled my shoulders listening to the small changes in our plans. I was happy for Sarah, who seemed like a smart woman and Aerick, but it also added to the pain I felt everytime I looked at Stormie. I didn't understand how we weren't mates but it seemed like she'd accepted it, already talking about teaching Sarah back at her pack. Tonight would be my last night with Stormie and no matter what else was going on I was going to make her talk to me. After Aerick's report Arkin said that he would give everyone the night off to relax and enjoy themselves. They had another day before the reinforcements started arriving and he wanted everyone well rested. We agreed that we wouldn't let Cristella in on the secret and that we would be announcing that Sarah was my mate at dinner and that we'd be returning to my pack tomorrow. I knew Cristella was probably going to be upset and I would t

Chapter 29
Stormie Neither one of us slept last night. Our last act together was to watch the sun rise wrapped up together in a blanket, knowing that this new dawn signified more than just a new day. One last long kiss before he returned to his room. The only good thing was that I was so exhausted I was able to fall asleep after he left and didn't wake up til late afternoon. I reached out for my brothers to see what they were up to and joined them in exploring the pack here. He'd sent Matthew and a few others ahead to scout out the quickest path to the Blood Moon pack from here. I had dinner in my room claiming a headache. I wondered if Tristan had landed safely and if his mother knew that Sarah wasn't really his mate. The next morning my brothers dragged me out early to join in hosting the training, just like we had fake planned to. "Might as well do what we said we would. Gotta kill time and keep sharp. Besides his team is going to help us so we should see what they've got," Ar

ArkinOh shit. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This man was Stormie's family AND that alpha has been after Stormie not Tristan this whole time.He continued and I leaned back, trying to absorb it all. "And so we became nomads - not really rogue as for whatever reason we had a pack link together. A few years ago we heard a rumor about a white wolf being spotted. I have spies in Blood Moon - that's where the rumor came from. Apparently some rogue knew that the alpha's son had been obsessed with a little girl with white hair and he had put two and two together. Then a few months later it was said that the youngest member of the infamous Elite was a white haired girl. Hope bloomed in my chest but so did worry. I hoped it was you and was glad that if the rumor was true you were taken in by a loving family and taught to protect yourself. But that's when the alpha started making deals with the rogues out in the open. For almost 4 years he's been gathering them and sending t
