(Lydia Richmond's POV) When I finally opened my eyes, I was in a familiar building. I could recognize the place anyday and anytime. It was in Jake's house. The kidnapper was Jake as I had predicted in my semiconscious state. He tied me with both of my hands hung. This was pure torture. I was sweating profusely from nervousness and in fear."You are conscious now," Jake told me. He had a plate in his hands. He was eating."Yes, I am," I replied."Good!" Jake said now. He took another spoonful of his meal. As he ate, I perceived the aroma of his food. I didn't need to be told that it was delicious."Why are you doing this?" I asked him. His meal's savour was getting into my nostrils but I knew I had to do better. I had to focus on getting myself released here."Nothing!" Jake replied. "But on a second thought, it is as a form of payback. Do you understand?"I frowned on hearing this."I don't understand!" I replied. "I think I have never done anything against you, Lydia. You should

(Lydia Richmond's POV)A familiar face.It was Andy.I was shocked on seeing Andy. He was supposed to be back in our house with the triplets. It was already late in the evening and I didn't know how he even managed to find where I was.Meanwhile, Jake had fallen down already. Andy said nothing but instead, he began to untie me. I hugged Andy immediately I was free and I began to cry."It's okay, Lydia," Andy told me. "We have no time. Let's get going before his other men come here."I didn't bother to ask Andy about the reason why Jake's colleagues would be coming. Instead, I followed him. My arms were aching but I was more on survival mode than to worry about an aching arm.As we stepped out of the house, I saw about six men approaching with swords in their hands. They were soldiers and they had to be from Lord Stone Sumach's mansion."Look at them!" I pointed in fear. I was already shaking. If Andy had not been there, I would have been rooted to a spot.Andy took my hand and began t

(Lydia Richmond's POV) After I escaped there, I heard nothing more about Andy. Now, I had to live and survive by myself. The only nice thing there was that I could live by myself. I had nobody after me. I could tell that Andy must have gotten rid of Jake just like he had promised me that he would. The first few days were very hard for me. I had to pretend like a sojourner in order to get helpers. On my first day, I was taken in by an old lady. She couldn't believe I was raising three kids alone. I was so lucky to the fact that she decided to help me. She gave me an old house of hers that used to belong to her late grandfather. No one was living in the old and small house and I was to occupy the space. I moved in now happily. It was at this point that I understood how much work Andy had been doing for me. I had to survive on my own while putting food on my table. Andy had been the one providing the food I ate for the past eight months. It was quite funny how I had depended so much on

(Beatrice Baker's POV) I was at the door hearing what Quinn told Gabby. This pierced my heart emotionally. As I heard them wrap up the meeting, I ran away from the doorpost without making any noise. I had originally told the guards in the front door to move from the place but now that I had heard enough, I told them to go back to their positions.I had this newly founded knowledge which I was going to use to my benefit. It was obvious that Quinn still cared for Lydia. I knew it had to be because Lydia was pregnant before she ran away. But I knew I was still Quinn's Luna and if since I couldn't get pregnant, I had to stop Quinn from getting in touch with Lydia. It was certain that Quinn wanted his kids which I wasn't going to object to. However, I also knew that Quinn would want to begin a fresh relationship with Lydia since she was the mother of his kids. Their relationship could rob me from my position as the Luna. I wasn't ready to compromise this position. I had to protect it

(Lydia Richmond's POV) I had to calculate the risk in this. Either I accepted or rejected, I had things to gain and things to lose. From what I had seen so far from the attitude of Lord Stone Sumach, he was not one to take "no" for an answer. I knew he could go as far as trying to forcefully make love to me. This would be a major shift in my emotional self. I wouldn't be emotionally relaxed if this happened.I didn't need a forced sexual intercourse at this moment. No, not at this stage of my life. I could die from the aftermath. There was no way about this. It was either I accepted or get forced into this. I knew what I wanted but it wasn't among the options available. I had to go with the right option if I didn't want to be succumbed to physical and emotional torture which Lord Stone Sumach was perfectly good to deliver.I had a plan in mind. The plan was to accept this proposal from Lord Stone Sumach with a clause which would make me have access to my triplets. I wanted his gua
