Semua Bab HER REVENGED: Bab 41 - Bab 49

CASSY It was around seven in the evening when we left Alex's office. "What do you want to eat for dinner, Angel?" He asked as we drove out of the parking lot. "I want seafood." I smiled when he chuckled. I knew that he knew that seafood was my favorite. After a few minutes of driving, he parked in front of a high-end seafood restaurant where rows of expensive cars parked. I could see the people getting in and out of the restaurant, most of them wearing formal attire. I looked at the clothes I was wearing. "Alex, I think I'm wearing inappropriate clothes for this restaurant." "Who said that? You can wear a pajama for all I care. We want to eat, and we are not at a party. No one will stop you from getting inside to eat, or they'll answer me. And besides, what you are wearing looks good on you." He smiled and kissed my cheek before he got out of the car and ran to my side. He opens th

XANDER It was past one in the afternoon when I arrived home. "Why you're back early?" Harold rushed to me when I stepped inside the front door, and I could see worries in her eyes. He was used to me being home around six in the afternoon when I was still living with them, and it was the first time I came home at this hour. "Nothing happened, Harold. I only have an important thing to do. Where's Aunty Amara?" "She's cleaning your room." "Ah, okay. I go to my room. I have something to ask her." "Have you eaten your lunch?" "I eat already, Harold. Thank you." I went to the elevator that would bring me to the next floor with a pounding heart. Aunt Amara is fixing my bed when I reach my door, and even though the door is open, I knock to avoid startling her. Before, only Harold cleaned my room, but now that Cassandra knows about my identity, Andrea and Aunty Amara alternately clean my room, whoever has free time. "Sir Xander, you come back early. I'm sorry, I haven't finished clea

ALEXANDER Ummm!!! Can we talk about it some other time?" She uttered, and my face suddenly fell, but I quickly covered it with a smile. "Of course, Angel," I resumed eating with my eyes fixed on my plate. I knew their eyes were on me, but I couldn't look at them. I feel disappointed. I expect she will agree to hold our marriage soon, but maybe I'm rushing too much. I just proposed to her. Perhaps she is still thinking. Maybe tomorrow she will tell me when she wants to hold our wedding. With those thoughts, hope bloomed in my heart. But the bright atmosphere instantly becomes gloomy. Everyone turned quiet. "I made a cake." Dan clapped his hand, breaking the awkward silence around us. "I hope it's a chocolate cake, Dan," Harry grinned. "No, it wasn't. I'm sure it's Vanilla flavor. Aunty Andrea knows it's my favorite." Adrian seconded. "Strawberry?" Bryan grinned. "Red velvet?" Dustin guesses. "Sorry, guys, but I made Cassandra's favorite cake," Dan said, smiling. "S

We arrived at the university, and I quickly got out of the car. And everyone's eyes were on us, mostly on me because I was with their crushes. Dustin and Bryan are heartthrobs at school and I always received hateful stares because of them but I ignored them. Today I'm determined to make Claire my friend. She has almost the same schedule as mine, and it will make it easier to get closer to her. We went to our locker first before we went to our first class, and when I saw Claire already sitting alone beside the window, I occupied the seat beside her, which I had noticed no one sitting since yesterday. Bryan and Dustin gestured for me to sit beside them, but I shook my head. Claire's eyes turn to me, and I smile at her, but she only looks at me for a few seconds before returning her eyes outside the window without returning my smile, but it doesn't dishearten me. "Hi! I hope you don't mind if I occupy the seat beside you." She glanced at me again but didn't utter a word before she re

I groaned in annoyance when the bright sunlight suddenly hit my face, waking me up from my slumber. Another groan left my lips. My head felt like being pounded by the sledgehammer, and it weighed me down."Good afternoon, my dear wife. I don't want to wake you, but we are heading home soon." Alex said, caressing my face."Afternoon already?" I mattered."Hmm!! He hummed in response and placed a tender kiss on my cheek."My head hurt," I murmured. "Come on." He helped me to a sitting position, and I leaned my heavy head on his shoulder."Aunt Andrea makes soup for your hangover." He picked up the bowl on the bedside table, scooped a spoonful, and brought it to my lips. I took a sip, only to spit it out. I couldn't understand how it tasted, but it tasted so bad."What is that?" I asked and quickly distanced myself from him."You drin
