The Luna's Law のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 51 - チャプター 60

*Poppy*The fall caused my head to hit the marble floor, disabling me for several seconds. Everything seemed to freeze before my body regained consciousness and began to react to the attack.Automatically, Iris began to growl, trying to break away from the screaming girl clenching around my chest like a vine. I tried to pry her arms off me, potentially causing her as little harm as possible. After all, it was just a tiny little human girl facing off against a werewolf.I quickly managed to loosen her arms, escape her, and reverse our situation. I put my arms under her armpits and clasped my hands behind the back of her head, wrapping my legs around her waist, pressing myself to the floor, immobilizing her."Calm down," I tried to reach out to her, but her howls turned into sobs that shook her body. "You're in no danger. I am not going to hurt you. Calm down!" I raised my voice but tried to sound calm and not aggressive.Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that Azize had entered the

*Logan*I lay in my bed, propped up on the pillow that smelled of apple pie, and watched both my girls sleeping, curled on the massive bed, holding each other's hands. An intensely red, warm quilt with Christmas gift patterns shines in your eyes like the glow of a burning fire in the fireplace. Vampires know no moderation in decorating, playing, eating, drinking, or in life in general. Their fortunes are always countless, their estates are exaggerated, and their tastes are tacky, starkly contrasting to my simple, balanced life.My quarters in Andrew's grand mansion remained consistent, always the smallest yet still resembling a luxurious suite. However, they eschewed the use of gold embellishments, Persian rugs, and furniture from the Baroque era. I appreciate simplicity, but they went overboard in adorning my room, leaving it resembling the epitome of a picturesque scene from a Christmas magazine.'What's wrong with the decorations? It's Christmas.' Gunnar reminded me while making h

*Rose*I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths before the stinging sensation vanished, and I washed away all the remnants of the dried blood, paint, and sweat. Azize stood from the chair, and the man everybody referred to as a Highlord took his place. He looked like a carbon copy of Azize but had more eyes like the azure ocean. They smiled at each other, and Azize grabbed a heavy oak chair and dragged it across the beautiful oriental carpet, leaving traces on it. I widened my eyes, but she just shrugged her shoulders, placed the chair next to me, and sat down, crossing her legs, revealing her naked porcelain leg covered with several flowery tattoos."The pretty royal boy must find a chair himself." She mocked the incomer and placed her hand on my armrest."We are ladies; I am her moral and emotional support." She pointed at me and straightened up in her seat.My heart beat faster, fearing that her offensive comment might cause trouble, but the man before me chuckled, and the one

*Logan**August 13th. The following delivery went as planned, with Seamus requesting a double dose of the opioid for his hallucinogen, which slowly began to lose its potency four days after the test subject took it. Motor skills are fully preserved, but after two days, they start to suffer from convulsions and have a slight limp.I don't know how much longer I can look at all this without trying to save these people, but I know I won't be able to do anything against twenty alone, and that's just a drop in the ocean. Seamus has recruited not only his members but also rogues and humans who are even willing to do this crap for money. I must get this to Poppy quickly because my time as her informant is running out.*September 24th. I almost got caught today carrying vials out of the Larch Creek Valley lab at the old disused mill. I managed to slip away unnoticed by the men armed with Wolfbane-loaded rifles, but I dropped two of the three stolen vials and could not retrieve them. This

*Poppy*I requested, "Stop the car," but Azize didn't react and even increased the speed slightly."I said stop the car; I need you to lend me your friend," I repeated and gestured at the tall, lean, incredibly handsome man with a bored face on the passenger's seat."And why would I do that?" Azize nagged with an equally bored face, but I rolled my eyes at her attitude.I knew she wasn't happy with her brother's request; she was more interested in going with Logan straight to Larch Creek Valley to search for Tanner and that lab, but her brother convinced her that my part of the mission was also essential. She felt resentful as one of the best warriors in their family, and as one of the deadliest assassins known to the vampire people, she was probably not having fun playing babysitter. This woman was made of the souls, screams, and blood of the victims she killed. Her single gaze was chilling, and her quick reflexes and precise cat-like body made her a deadly and perfect weapon. Her ni
