LIANA My breath freezes in my throat when I hear his voice. It's so rough and low as it vibrates through my body. I spin around so fast, I crash into a stone statue of some ancient wolf by my side. It wobbles for half a second, and before I could regain my balance enough to steady it, it shatters on the marble floor with a loud crash that echoes through the ground. JACE POV She hasn’t said a word since we pulled out of the Blackwell gates. Not that I expected her to, of course. She just sits there, with her arms folded tight across her chest and her head turned towards the window. The sun cuts through the windshield, catching the gold strands buried in her curls. Liana’s POVI didn’t understand anything that happened down there because obviously I’m still new here and I can’t know everyone, but it seemed really intense judging from Jace’s tone and his facial expression.
