Third party PovLinda paced back and forth in her room, her mind seethed with anger and frustration. The thought of being stripped of her position as Luna filled her with a white-hot rage, a fire burning in her chest as she plotted her next move."I have to find a way to stop that bitch Freya," she seethed to herself, her hands clenched into fists at her sides. She refused to let some upstart usurp her rightful place by Alpha Dominic's side. But before she could formulate a plan, the sound of footsteps interrupted her thoughts. Turning towards the door, her heart pounded in anticipation as Carolyn marched into the room, a smirk playing at the corners of her lips."Well, well, well," Carolyn chimed, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Looks like someone's not happy they're going to lose their precious title soon."Linda's eyes narrowed at the taunt, her anger flaring at the smug expression on Carolyn's face. But before she could respond, Carolyn continued, her smirk widening with each wo

After helping Mathew with his bath, I wrapped him in a warm towel, showering him with kisses as I dried him off. "Time for bed, sweetheart," I murmured, holding him close as I carried him to our bedroom.I didn't want to share a different room from my son.Mathew's eyes sparkled with excitement as he nestled into my arms. "Can I have a story, Mumma?"A smile tugged at my lips as I nodded. "Of course, my darling," I replied, my heart swelling with love for my son. "But first, let's get you into your pajamas."As I helped Mathew into his favorite pajamas, I couldn't help but marvel at how quickly he was growing. With a pang of bittersweet nostalgia. After tucking Mathew into bed, I settled down beside him, pulling his favorite storybook from the shelf. "Once upon a time," I began, my voice soft and soothing as I launched into the familiar tale.Mathew's eyes lit up with wonder as he listened intently, his imagination carrying him off to faraway lands filled with adventure and magic.Wit

Alpha Dominic's povStanding outside Freya and Mathew's bedroom door, I couldn't shake the conflicting emotions within me. My instincts begged me to step into the room, to be with the two most important people in my life, and to safeguard them, even if my home was secure. The urge to wrap them both in my arms, to shield them from any potential danger, tugged at my heartstrings. But beneath that longing lay a deep sense of dread, a fear of the danger they might face if they stayed with me.I paced back and forth outside the door, my mind racing with worry and uncertainty. Every fiber of my being screamed for me to stay away, to keep them safe by maintaining a distance. Yet, the pull of their presence was irresistible. With a heavy sigh, I hovered my hand over the handle, torn between my desire to be with them and my duty to protect them.I prayed everyday that the moongoddess would remove her curse.Regret gnawed at my soul as I recalled the day I had listened to my parents and rejecte

Lost in thought, I found myself standing in the kitchen, my mind consumed by the events that had unfolded earlier in the day. The memory of Alpha Scott stepping in to stop Alpha Dominic from marking me lingered in my mind.Relief flooded through me as Alpha Dominic was stopped before he could mark me, but it was quickly overshadowed by concern for him. I couldn't bear to see him hurt, and there was a longing inside me to help him, to ease whatever pain he was feeling. In an attempt to restrain him, Alpha Scott and a few other pack warriors hurried forward but Alpha Dominic's strength was almost second to which was astonishing to see.I thought he was weak along with his pack?Alpha Dominic marking me stirred a complex mix of emotions within me. While part of me felt a primal urge to submit to him completely, another part of me struggled with the idea of surrendering myself so completely to his dominance.I shook my head, attempting to chase away the thoughts that were threatening to o

"No, Freya," he said with a hard glance. "You won't be forced to do anything you don't want to. You would have mated with Alpha Dominic already if you had truly accepted him as your mate.""Take her away," With a swift order, he directed the pack warriors to take me away, his decision final and absolute even before I could voice my protest.I felt a wave of despair come over me as the pack warriors started to carry me away, and I had to protest. "Wait! Let me go! You can't do this to me?!" I pleaded. But my pleas went unheard, overpowered by the soldiers' unflinching steps as they carried away from my mate's cell.I wish the moongoddess had blessed me with strength.Just as I was struggling, I heard a voice that caught my attention. I glanced over and saw Linda striding by, her face filled with confidence and mockery as she took in the scene before her."Pathetic, as always," she remarked, her tone dripping with amusement. "No wonder the pack warriors take zero orders from you. You're
