Third party pov Sage's thoughts drifted to her mate, Alpha Lucas, as she stood in his bedroom looking out the window. Despite her efforts to quell the feelings that stirred within her, she couldn't deny the inexplicable pull she felt towards him. It was a bond forged by the Moon-goddess, one that she had tried tirelessly to break, yet it only seemed to grow stronger. Sage's mind wandered back to the day she had found out that Alpha Lucas was her mate. She had never imagined herself bound to a notorious wolf. Yet the moongoddess had other plans, intertwining their destinies in a way that she could never have anticipated. Alpha Dominic's PovI made my way to Linda's quarters. My thoughts were consumed by my son who was now missing. Every fiber of my being urged me to keep Freya close, to protect her from any potential harm while I searched for our child. My wolf snarled viciously to bind her to our bed, to ensure her protection while it ventured out in search of our child. But as much as my wolf clamored for her safety, I knew Freya was more than capable of defending herself. She possessed remarkable knowledge and abilities that surpassed even my own, and I trusted her to hold her ground while she was about to leave.Still, the ache in my chest grew with every step away from her side along with my son being far away from me. The instinct to keep her close, to shield her from any danger.I forced myself to focus on the task at hand, pushing aside my own fears and insecurities for the sake of our family.Coming across Linda's home I barged in without knocking, the sight before me caught me off guard. The

Alpha Dominic's Pov Rushing back to the pack's clinic, my heart raced with a mixture of concern and fury. Concern, because I feared something might be wrong with Freya, and fury, directed inwardly, fueled by the realization that if anything had happened to her, it would be entirely my fault.I should have never let her go alone, should have insisted on accompanying her, or even restrained her if necessary. But now, faced with the possibility of her being hurt or worse, I could feel the rage boiling inside me, directed at my own shortcomings and failures as her mate.I blocked out anyone from mind-linking me, I didn't want to hear anything. I wanted to see Freya for myself.Upon entering the clinic I followed my mate's distinctive scent which for some odd reason had changed. I smiled happily. A flood of tenderness swept over me as Mathew curled into a comfortable sleep, snug in his bed. As I gazed over him, I was overcome by a wave of protectiveness; my heart ached from the immense love I had for my baby. The thought of leaving him, even for a moment, filled me with a sense of unease. He was my everything, my reason for living, and I would do anything to keep him safe from harm. When Mathew had recounted his ordeal, my heart clenched with a mixture of relief and anger. I was grateful that they hadn't harmed him physically, but the thought of my sweet boy being tied up and forced to sleep in a chair filled me vengeance. With each word Mathew said, the rage simmered within me, fueled by the wrongdoing of what had happened to my son. I traced the faint marks around his hand, with an image of his unease and agony, and promised to do whatever it took to hold those responsible accountable. The door creaked open, and Alpha Dominic entered the room, his prese
