บททั้งหมดของ Her Secret Arrangements : บทที่ 11 - บทที่ 20

Anna wakes up at five in the morning to a knock on her door. She gets up and wonders who could be waking her up at this hour. Suddenly everything that happened yesterday hits her. It could be Munya…or even worse..it could be his wife…Anna looks through the peephole on the door and sees an Indian man that she has never met before. She opens the door. “Hello?” She says to him. The Indian man smiles at her.“Good morning Ms.Moyo. Henry sent me to pick you up and escort you to London,” He tells her. “We’re meant to leave in an hour. Is that enough time for you? Your flight to Johannesburg is going to leave at seven thirty,”Anna looks at him. “Um, okay and you are?”

Anna was woken up by movement in her room. She rubbed her eyes thinking that it was Chef Anna with her nine o’clock breakfast but it was Sophia. Sophia smiled at her and apologized for waking her up. She had an evening dress on a hanger.“Henry has arrived and will see you in the evening at Nobu,” She explains to Anna. Anna looks at the evening dress.“Who will I be wearing?” Anna asks with a yawn.“This is a simple Valentino dress,” Sophia tells her. Anna nods and falls back into the bed“You’re paintings are excellent by the way,” Sophia tells her as she leaves. She’s gone before Anna can respond. Anna tries not to panic too much about meeting Henry by checking her application with iTalki. It’s been approved. Now she can determine how much she will charge per hour. She

Sophia felt genuinely angry at Henry. Seeing Anna cry that she didn’t want to return to Zimbabwe even though she was half-delirious broke her heart. She knew that Henry needed access to his trust fund but exploiting a disadvantaged girl from a third-world country was taking it a bit too far in her opinion! Sophia drove to the house that Henry was at and found him deep into typing. She slammed down the top of his Macbook and glared at him. “What have I done now?” He asks her with a groan.“You’re taking advantage of an innocent girl,” Sophia tells him.“A girl on Seeking Arrangements is barely innocent,” he tells her. Sophia rolls her eyes. “And a man that

Anna coughed as she ate her breakfast. She was tired of having soup. She had checked herself out the night before. She had lost a lot of weight because she wasn’t able to eat solid food for a while. The good news was that she had shed the pounds that she had been trying to lose for years, but she had shed more than she would have planned to. Anna naturally had a big bum, but now when she sat down she could feel the bones on her butt because she had lost so much weight and her cheeks which were usually very plump and cute were nearly gone. “Can I have something more after the soup,” she asks Nurse Mary. Nurse Mary smiles at her. “Sure, just need to make sure that you’ve warmed up your stomach first,” she explains to Anna. “So you have to finish your soup,” Anna sighs and takes another spoonful of her sp

Anna sighs and gets into the Mercedes Benz. After three hours she had eventually settled on the thousand-pound purple and pink floral dress. Well, Henry had gotten frustrated and told her just to wear this one and throw the first one within his reach at her. She looked beautiful. Sophia had advised her not to wear too much makeup which was a contrast to when she met Henry. Sophia said that putting too much makeup would make her look like an Instagram how. That would make his grandfather suspicious that she was being paid. Anna ended up not putting on any makeup at all. Her hand was feeling too shaky. She wondered if she would be even able to eat at this rate. She tucked in her stomach and pulled her shoulders back.“You’re going to meet your fiancé’s grandfather, not audition for America’s Next Top Model,” Sophia tells her. Anna exhales and feels tears sting her eyes. O
