Laura's point of viewI sat in the car with my head against the window, staring outside lost in thoughts as rachael drove me to the diner. If not for rachael who convinced me to go, I wouldn't be on my way there right now even though it was way past the time I was supposed to be there. Mr Sebastian had even called me almost five times just now but I didn't pick up since I was on my way there mainly because I didn't know what to say to him.Staring, as we drove past the streets onto the highway, I remembered going into my room and leaving the box on the ground after what happened with chris . After a while, rachael came into my room and gave me a long worried stare as I sat at the dresser using my night skincare regimen.“What is it?”, I asked unbothered by her stare.“What is it?”, she repeated with a raised eyebrow but I said nothing. “Why aren't you going?”, she asked with a tilted head, standing in the middle of the room.“Where?”, I asked feigning ignorance to what she meant and

Laura's point of view“The restroom is at the second on the left of the hallway ma'am.”, the waitress directed me as I excused myself after Mr Sebastian released me from his hold.I barged into the restroom feeling hot as his touch and breath had inflamed me. My heart was beating wildly in my chest and my eardrums hammered in my ears. I rushed to the wash basin, opened the tap and washed my face with cold water that gushed from it. I then stared at myself in the mirror and saw that my whole face and neck were flushed, I sighed closing my eyes. What was wrong with me? Why was I behaving this way? I thought as I breathed heavily with my mouth open.I touched my neck as what happened back there flashed through my mind and I shut my eyes tightly. I could still feel his hands on my waist and I touched the area softly, grazing my fingers over it. I then remembered Emily's words, “he is in love with you.”Her voice resonated in my head as I recalled the look I saw in his eyes as he held me.

Laura's point of viewSebastian drove into his home slowly and parked under the porch. When he alighted, he took off his suit before making his way to the door. But before he reached it, it opened and Marty came out of the house to meet him.“You're welcome Sir.”, she greeted him and he nodded with a raised eyebrow as she took his suit from him.“Why are you still awake this late?”, he asked her.“I was waiting for you to return, Sir. You never come home this late or you would have told me if you would and I can't go to bed if you haven't returned Sir.”, she explained.“I am sorry for keeping you up Marty, should have called to inform you.”, he apologized. She nodded then turned sideways for him to go into the house and she followed.“Besides Miss Lily is awake too Sir.”, she added from behind and he frowned. He thought he told her not to wait up, he thought, almost shaking his head at her stubbornness. When they got into the house, he met Lily in the living room, sitting on the couc

sebastian's point of view . “What happened next?” I asked, my phone glued to my ears while I pranced back and forth down the halls. I swallowed hard, reeling in every thought of how the entire scenario could have played out. “Mr sebastain?” She called out my name. I could imagine her seated against her balcony, the laptop on her table, her feet crossed while she leaned into the armchair, her phone strapped to her ears. "Yes, Laura , you did a good job, and I'll be sure to commend you for it. I'm happy about the progress. I knew you were the perfect one for the job. Imagine if I never had you in charge of what would have happened.” I asked meekly, a faint smile on my face, before I punched myself on the couch. “Nothing else? That's all?” She asked out of sheer curiosity. I missed her. With each word she said, I pictured it in my head. My eyes were pressed firm, and her soothing voice rang like music to my ears. “What else is it that I should know about? Any other problems!?” I

Laura S POV.“Really, aren't you both ending the entire thing? We talked about this laura and last time all you did was actually argue back and forth about it, saying you weren't sure this, you weren't sure that yet here we are again, seriously? Helen asked, and I glanced over to see Andree aggressively tapping against his screen at the end of the room.“Andrew!” I called out his name just to be sure he wasn't eavesdropping, and not for once did he bother. It was best known to me that he enjoyed every bit of his attitude and conversations, soothing in the best manner he probably could hold it up to, and the sight warmed up my heart.“I'm sorry.” I apologized to Helen , who seemed really confused and taken aback by my actions and words."No, it's not really... I mean, I didn't mean it. Oh, please, Helen , don't give me that look.” I answered reluctantly before giving myself a satisfied spin before the mirror. “What look? I just don't get it, and at first I believed you both were kic
