When the children got up the next morning, Jada hugged and kissed them and told them she loved them and had missed them so much. She wasn’t ready to tell them about their father just yet. She wanted to make sure that they had breakfast and had some fun before she told them. Phyllis made them buttermilk pancakes, bacon, sausage links and scrambled eggs. Jada walked over to the mansion to check on Evelyn the next day. It was just about a block away, so it was good exercise for her, she thought. She left the children home, playing in their game room.
