Lahat ng Kabanata ng Her Beastly Biker: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

It was two full days before Samantha started to wake from the medically induced coma. Drake was sitting by her bed, holding her hand when he felt her start to stir. As per the nurses instructions, he rang the buzzer. It wasn't long before a team of doctors and nurses came into the room and shifted him away from her bed as they began to get her vital signs, checking her pupils for reaction and dilation. They had already pulled the ventilator the previous day. The IV was left in for medication delivery. When Drake heard Sam groan in what sounded like irritation, he released the breath that he didn't realize he was holding. "Dra....ke...wat...er." Drake had had enough. He pushed his way back to his girls bedside, and raised the bed. "Easy, love. I'll get you some water."When Sam tried to gulp it down, Drake pulled the straw away. She protested in her raspy voice. "No, honey. Too much too soon and you'll get sick. Now, I'll give it back it you promise me to drink slowly." At her nod, h

Samantha moved gingerly. She was so very sore and in a lot of pain. The drive to Drake's home after her injection had passed in a blur. She had stayed asleep while he had gone through the drive-thru at the pharmacy and gotten her prescriptions filled. He had even called Vulcan's wife, Francesca and asked her to do some grocery shopping for him. She had met them at his home. She had been carried in so carefully that you would have thought she was made of the most valuable spun glass. Dr. Harrington had given him strict instructions on her care. The prescriptions had been a muscle relaxer, a strong pain medicine and an antibiotic. She knew that Drake would want her to take the pain meds, something she wasn't to thrilled with. However, when the pain had been so bad earlier, she had actually welcomed the oblivion that the medication had provided.

Sam sat back and watched as the men of the club roared their agreement, while the women clapped. Leaning down, Drake kissed her on the cheek as Francesca and Lucy appeared at her side. They helped her stand and led her to the kitchen. It was Saturday and they always had a family style dinner. The men would use the massive grills out back and the women would make the fixings in the kitchen. Two hours later, then men come out of church. Many looked positively grim. Some looked like they had seen a ghost and some of them just had a blank look on their face. It was the bland, blank look that frightened her the most. Having seen enough, she went in search of Drake. When she found him, he was using the grills with the help of Bill and Vulcan. Seeing her heading towards them, he handed the tongs in his hand to one of the guys and wa

Drake hurried up the stairs to his room where Sam and the Isabella waited. He had finally remembered the baby's name when he was going to get information. When he entered the room Lucy immediately met him at the door with a finger on her lips, indicating for him to be silent. She then pointed over to his bed. There were his girls, fast asleep. Sam lay with Isabella snuggled up into her abdomen and her hand resting on the baby's stomach. Drake quietly thanked Lucy and Francesca and hustled them out of the room. He walked over to the foot and just watched his girls sleep. The peace that settled into his heart was alien to him. It wasn't that he unfamiliar with peace. Just this particular peace that invaded his heart was new to him. It was like someone had gift wrapped the world just for him. Samantha, as if a

Drake took Isabella from Samantha so she could go pee. Isabella looked up at him with her big eyes so serious, as if measure him. She must have thought me worthy, because she smiled at him and cooed. Drake felt his heart melt. "Yo man. Your creds are fading. That little baby has you wrapped around her little finger." Drake looked over to where Vulcan stood and smirked at him."Yeah, like you have any room to talk. I saw you with all of your kids when they were small. You were whipped. Especially when it came to the girls. All they had to do was whine and you were there."Vulcan smirked back and nodded his head. "Very true. I won't deny it. However, you're gonna be just as bad. And I am so looking forward to it."
