Lahat ng Kabanata ng Wrong Night With Fated Mate: Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

(Ashley’s POV).I did not know when I fell asleep. We were making love endlessly all night with Nikolai sucking the energy out of me. I felt drained and tired.I could feel some warmth covering my body. I knew it was him doing his best not wanting me to freeze to death in this awfully cold country. My head rested on his arm as he wrapped me closely on his chest. With my eyes still closed, I could hear his heart beating calmly. He was still asleep. Alive.I could not remember much on what happened after he bit me, marking me to be his. It did not hurt me as much as I thought it would be. Just a little tingling sensation down my spine. He kept his word in doing it gently. But, I guessed things got heated up after he tasted my blood. I could feel him stronger and firmly held me on the bed by my wrist, not wanting to let go of me. I let him devour my body, as I could feel he was healing fast after he had marked me. He had pumped his seeds inside of me and I had lost count on how many tim

(Nikolai’s POV).Sweat stung my eyes with tiny drops of snow slowly freezing my body. All around me was covered with white smoke. I did not know where it came from. The smoke came to us which looked like an advantage for us.It was the work from a Witch. But, who did it?It could not have been Ashley using her abilities. She would have been far gone with Drake driving her out from danger. The smoke was choking the air out from our lungs. It tasted bitter on my parched throat. Perhaps, someone did not want us to cross out from the smoke. Was it created to protect us?I wondered as I looked around, searching for Gerald.“Nikolai” I heard his voice calling my name in a singing tune. He was somewhere close, I could sense him hiding behind those thick trees ahead. He was getting nearer to us.Gerald’s movement was quite easy to predict. The sound of gunshots was heard next. Loud and deafening. I shield myself behind a tree and send instructions to my army to proceed with the next course o

(Author’s POV).Loraine was shielding fire shots coming from Erique who had invaded Ashley’s body. She did not want to hurt Ashley. But, the longer she fought Erique’s powers, the weaker she got.“Ashley is indeed powerful” Loraine whispered to herself and chanted a spell of protection from the spirit of her ancestors. “You will not win, Erique. Release her and fight me, down under”Erique laughed and shook his head, “Come on, Loraine. I just got back. I know you needed someone like me to spice up your life. Were you bored while I was away? You know, you are not the type that would sit around at home taking care of your family. This war is what you need. Power. Strength. Don’t lie to me, Loraine. I know you love it”“Oh, shut up, Erique. This world will not be yours. I command you to go back to where you belong. Begone evil being!” Loraine then used all the powers she had stored on her hand and blasted white light to Erique to defeat him.He fell backwards to where Loraine had planne

(Author’s POV).In a room with only a small window allowing the dim light from the moon to shine its brightness, two children were heard sniffling their tears of fear and regret. Their small little hands were tied on their back with a tight rope as they rested their back on the wall. Eyes were blindfolded.. mouth taped.. it was terrifying to both of the little children.“Teddy, w-where are you?” little Crystal whispered as she managed to free her hands from the rope tied around her hand. Her brothers once taught her that skill. She sniffled a tear seeing the cut and graze around her wrist. It had hurt her a little too much.At that time of despair, she recalled her elder brothers told her to be strong. Being the only girl among her siblings of three strong boys, had set certain expectation for her to toughened up like them. Despite her age of eight years old, Crystal was stronger than her peers at the same age.She was also smarter than average kids in her school. And that was what l

(Ashley’s POV).In the fast-moving car, I asked Frankie to turn the car to the left as what was shown on the locator map. “Hurry! Why are you driving so slow!”I took a glance at Frankie who had his eyes only on the road. His hands on the steering wheels were shaking. Was he afraid of me? He did not even look at me after I forced him to drive me to the point shown in the map.“Someone took my son, Frankie. Does Nikolai know about this?” I asked him as we entered what looked like a road going up the hill. “I was asked to come here alone. You can stay in the car. I’ll get there by foot from here”“No, Miss Winters. It is not safe there for you. I’ll watch over you from far. Whoever you are meeting would not notice my presence” he said as he parked the car at the signage stating, “Private property”“This is a dead end. Walking up there would only lead you to a cliff. This does not look good, Miss Winters. We better call Alpha Nikolai” he turned to look at me with a look full of concern.
