บททั้งหมดของ Alpha Prince Seeks Human Mate: บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

"Let's go to the back," I suggest when the need growing in my tummy gets too big for a public space. Leo finally breaks the kiss and without missing a single beat, he starts walking there, "Wait, wait, bring the backpack. I'm not letting it out of my sight." Leo chuckles but walks back to grab the backpack and he brings it with us when we get inside my storeroom, where the scent of coffee is potent. For a second I stop to consider that what we're going to do is unsanitary, but then I roll my eyes at myself. I don't give a single fuck. Who cares about sanitation? There's half-animal people out there. Nothing fucking matters. "You can fuck me, Vermin. You earned it," I whisper against his ear. Leo hums in appreciation and drops the backpack, not wasting a single second to get what I just offered. He pushes me against a wall so I don’t fall backwards, then he pulls my pants down until they’re off completely. He comes back to keep kissing the life out of me as he pulls his dick o

I feel like I'm going to throw up, pass out and shit my pants at the same time, but I fight against my body to stop those reactions and I run to the first werewolf I find. Thankfully, it happens to be a woman, so I feel a little less scared. "Excuse me? I come fully in peace," I say, holding my hands open so she knows I'm not a threat. By the bored look she gives me, I think that was very unnecessary, "What the fuck is that, about Leopoldo, that guy? Can you explain? What is going on? Why are they offering so much money?" "That is Prince Leopoldo, he is the Alpha of Pack Garibaldi, but he ran away around three months ago. We believe he's hiding around here," she says, but the words are hitting me like gunshots to the head. Prince? Pack? Alpha? Those are werewolf words, "His family is looking for him." His family. His werewolf family? Fuck me in the fucking ass. "H-how would that work, if someone finds him?" I ask, gulping again in stress. The werewolf narrows her eyes at me.

{ Leopoldo } The front door opens while I'm still playing in front of the TV and I jump up in that same second, surprised and pumped to see Jolene home so early. Around three hours earlier than normal, this feels very exciting. "Hi, baby. What's up? Why are you home so early?" I ask as I walk up to her and hug her, lifting her up for a couple of seconds. She seems stiffer than normal and she doesn't respond to my kiss right away, so I stop and pull her back down, "What? Something happened?" "Nah, I just got bored in the coffee shop," she murmurs and finally gives me a little smile. I kiss her again and this time she responds for a bit, but then breaks the kiss, "What were you doing? Didn't you hear me yelling?" "No, I didn't, why were you yelling?" I ask, stepping away from her so I can get a good look. Luckily, she looks unharmed, but my instinct is telling me something is up. She’s not acting normal and she smells worried and anxious, "What the hell happened, Jolie? You're actin

As soon as Jonah arrives the next morning and we get inside his car to start our trip, I start to feel like I want to throw up. I feel like shit, literal shit. Leo is such a good guy, he's been super nice to me the whole time, he’s been super into me, lifting my self-esteem to the max... but I haven't even known him for that long. Tricking him should not he this big of a deal. And five million dollars is a lot of fucking money, he has to understand. He’ll probably be a little mad a me, but once he manages to run away again, maybe we can rekindle our situation? Unless he hates me forever and never wants to see me again. And what if that happens and I lose him for good? I’ll be so sad. Because… what if he's... like, the love of my life or something? Gah, I know he's not, even if my heart is talking at the moment. I need to shut it up. The heart has nothing to do when money is involved. I would never lose the opportunity to have that much money just because I really like

"All I wanted was to be left alone," I murmur, shaking my head, not making eye contact with anyone, "I’ve already told you a hundred times, don't want to be the Alpha, it's just not in me. I don't want any of this shit." "It belongs to you," Archie says, making me roll my eyes. We’ve repeated this conversation a lot, "Jace has been the replacement Alpha, but people still ask about you. They think they're safer if you're around. They want you. Beatrice is living here, just waiting for your return. She's your fiancée, Leo, whether you like it or not, you signed the contract and we need the connection now more than ever.” “She's living here, where?" I ask, looking at Archie. If she’s here, it means her dad is impatient for this union. I guess that’s why they were being so intense about finding me. "Here, here. In a guest room," Archie answers. I take my hands to my hair in stress and I push everyone away from me because I'm suffocating again. Just five minutes awake in here and I
