Eira was still sitting on the ground. She was very surprised by what she saw. Lyall's wolf stood in front of Eira and growled harshly at the three wolves in front of her. Lyall turned to Eira, who was still sitting on the ground and scared, then looked back at the three wolves. 'Who are you?' Lyall asked. But the three wolves did not answer. One of the wolves attacked Lyall. Lyall quickly dodged and attacked back. Eira got up then ran and took cover in one of the trees. She watched the wolves fight. Lyall bit one of the wolves and tore its flesh. Not finished, another wolf attacked too. Lyall dodged the wolf's attack and then kicked it. The wolf was knocked down, but he immediately got up and attacked again. He tried to bite Lyall. While another wolf approached Eira. Eira was shocked and slowly backed away. Cheers rang out across the spacious courtyard. They were cheering on two men fighting in the middle. Trey challenged Lyall to a fight. At first, Lyall was reluctant. He was in a high-pitched rage. Even at school, he couldn't see Eira freely. He was under constant security surveillance. Lyall knew why. He would be eighteen in less than a week. Lyall looked around; there was no one there. It was just them. They stopped in front of a cave entrance. The cave entrance wasn’t large and looked hidden. Eira stepped inside. Lyall didn’t have time to stop her. He jogged over and grabbed her hand. “Don’t go too deep. What if there’s a wild animal inside?” “Nothing inside.” “How can you be so sure?” “My dad and I come here often. The cave is a dead end. There's no way out.”
