REYNOLD Reynold could not understand what had just happened to him. At first, he was so sure that it was Vega but then, she took the lead, damn! That confused him to a great extent. The Vega he knew would never do that, and also that scent—that's what was even more confusing. The last time he perceived the scent was the first day he found his mate and was also back in the woods. Victoria, whom he thought smelled like roses over the years, didn't smell anything like that, so this was truly confusing for him. Ever since the day he made Mr. Graham, transfer Vega to his company, he had been expecting to see her from then on. When he saw her in front of his office door, he thought it was her, and due to the angry expression on her face, he was more than sure it was her. But then again, she had confused him by telling him she was Victoria, and the way she badmouthed Vega in front of him, was so like Victoria, but what didn't seem to fit in the puzzle

AUTHOR The feeling that Victoria might be his wrong mate was killing him, and he did not let his beta know about the suspicion he was having about his mate. What could possibly be going wrong? Reynold thought about ways he could confirm his suspicions, but no idea came to mind. Just then, Aria came out of her room, still wondering why Victoria was having a double personality. Heading out to meet a morning shoot, she saw her brother looking all worried and haggard. From her observation, he seemed not to have had a good sleep, seeing the dark circles under his eyes. She wondered what could possibly get a powerful Lycan king to become this worried? She quietly walked up to him, in the hopes of finding out why he was that way. "Are you okay, brother?" Reynold raised his tired eyes to meet his sister's. "Yeah, I'm fine, heading out now?" Aria could visibly see the pretence her brother was forming. "Yeah I am, but you don't look good to m

"Miss Vega, do you remember what those assassins looked like?" Stanley asked, trying not to be so panicked. "I don't know, the bullet was silent, I only saw the car driving away at full speed." Vega was trembling badly, and Sandy sat close to her, comforting her. They had called Stanley earlier about the incident, and he came running within minutes. Reynold got rushed to his private infirmary, to be taken care of by the healer. 'Jackie, think, there's got to be a way to track these people.' Her wolf who was also worried began thinking. Suddenly, she remembered that Reynold was running towards her with panic in his eyes. Wait, could it be that those killers came for her? But who would want to have her killed? "I think I was the target!" She screamed aloud. Beta Stanley, who was still pacing the hard floor of her sitting room, immediately turned towards her in shock. She explained to him how Reynold came running towards her in panic before

Ivan slowly walked to the door, the scent of the Lycan wolf became stronger as he approached the door. Ivan immediately mind linked his men who were around the area to capture the lycan intruder. Meanwhile, Aria had no idea what was happening, she only noticed something was wrong when they suddenly became quiet. It didn't take long before the realisation struck her that she might have been found out. She immediately took to her heels, but just as she approached the gate to get back into her car, she was attacked on all sides by giant, muscled men, whom she quickly noticed were werewolves. "Get out of my way if you do not wish to incur the wrath of the Lycan king!" The guys all shot quick glances at each other at the mention of the Lycan king. "Your royalty does not have any effect on us, little Lycan princess!" Said one of the huge muscled werewolves with a slightly crooked nose, which he must have gotten from a fight. Just then, one of them mind-lin

REYNOLD He had put all security systems working all over the country just to track those responsible for his sister's kidnapping, but still found no clue as to their whereabouts. He wondered who these people really were and what they wanted from his sister. Furthermore, he's been waiting for either a call for ransom or, better yet, his head as the Lycan king, but for several weeks now, there's been no such thing and the whole issue for him was beginning to become shady. He could not tell what was happening in his life anymore. Just as he'd found his true mate, his younger sister had disappeared. "I think we have a lead, Your Majesty!" Stanley ran towards him anxiously. This must be the greatest news he's ever heard for weeks now. Stanley showed him video footage of a girl caught on camera fighting off some wolves, he looked closer and discovered that it was his sister Aria. Reynold welled up upon seeing the video. He watched as his sister fought off
