Chapter 61 ROYAL INFIRMARY

VEGA "Hello, Your Luna Highness, do you wish to see your sister?" "Yes please," she replied with a smile on her, to the head officer with black curly hair. 'This way, please, Your Highness." Just as she was about to go in, she discovered that Gamma Rivers was tagging along. "Uhm, Gamma Rivers, I know you are trying to do your job, but I would like to talk to my sister alone, please." "Very well, Your Highness. I will be outside waiting for you." Rivers politely said to Vega. He stepped backward, so she could go alone. Vega, with the officer in front leading her, got into the section of the cell where Victoria was. The moment she got to the entrance of the cell, Victoria immediately strode to the gate of her cell, made with iron rods of equal size. "So you are finally here, prodigal sister." Vega closed her eyes; actually, she was expecting this. "Stop Victoria, I'm here to see you as a sister, not an enemy."

Chapter 62 TAKING A CHANCE ON HIS MATE

REYNOLD Seeing how scared she was, he felt as if her fear was eating the life out of him. Sensing her fear only made him feel like the greatest monster, Alice. That was the bitter truth: he was a monster because he did to her only what monsters do. He did not deserve anything. Ever since he found out about her pregnancy, he's been asking the moon goddess why she had to give him such a gift, which he did not deserve. He certainly did not deserve her love and care. Those times he had been in a coma and she had been working tirelessly just so his company wouldn't get into the enemy's hands, he felt like ripping out his heart and feeding it to the beast. Just for this reason, he's been avoiding her, too ashamed and guilty to show himself in front of her. So, what he did was go over to her house and watch her sleep every night. It was the only help his useless self could offer her at that particular time. Sometimes he gets the urge to go lie next to

Chapter 63 SHE BELONGED TO HIM

VEGA At this point, she doesn't have the strength to fight anymore, it's no lie that all she has wanted is love and care. But knowing how much he'd hurt her made Vega mad, and now that he's holding her in his tight embrace, she's totally become helpless. It was hard to wriggle herself free from him, not because she could but because she was too lazy to. She took a glance at Edward, who was still in the room, mixing a serum. She could see him stealing glances at them with a broad smile on his face. For how long Reynold held her, she could not tell because she slept off in his arms. When she finally opened her eyes, she was surprised to find herself in his room. At that moment, so many things came to mind, but at the same time, she was speechless about what she wanted to say. She wondered why he had to take her out of the infirmary. Looking at the room where she shared it with him, she felt somewhat sad because the bed she lay on used to give her

Chapter 64 NEVER GIVING UP

IVAN Ivan seemed quiet while in jail, but the truth is, he's tirelessly working for a comeback. It so happens that when his pack was raided, and his father and some head warriors were arrested, he wasn't around. He went out with some of his men to handle pack matters. The Lycan King was indeed smart, but when it came to choosing those he trusted, he was found lacking in that aspect. While he was in prison, it so happened that the guy in charge of his cell was a long-time pack member who left the pack when he discovered that his mate was from another pack. It was only after Ivan was brought into the dungeons that he saw Michael, who worked as a guard in the cell. Luckily for Ivan, Michael was his dungeon guard, which meant every aspect of his activity while inside the cell would be handled by Michael. This made Ivan believe that the moon goddess was actually helping him this time. With the help of Officer Michael, he has been able to talk to his broth

Chapter 65 ALLIANCE WITH THE ROGUES

IVAN With the help of Michael, Ivan got sneaked out of the dungeons and replaced with someone else. "Alpha Ivan, you must be quick in your dealings, so no one will notice you are out." Michael said in a whisper as he took him out of the dungeons late at night. When they finally arrived outside, Ivan thanked Michael for helping him out of the dungeon. Up ahead of them was Ethan, who waited for him in his car. Ivan began walking briskly, and even though the coast was clear in the area at that particular time, he could not help feeling extremely nervous and wary because no one knows the ways and manner in which the Lycan king operates. He walked briskly until he arrived at the hideout, where his brother was patiently waiting for him. The moment his brother saw him, he quickly opened the door to the front seat. Ivan immediately hopped in after eye-scanning the environment one last time. "What took you so long, brother? I've been waiting

Chapter 66 HAVING HIS CHILD

VEGA Vega has been restless, ever since she heard about what Victoria's mate was up to. These people just won't give up even when they know they are wrong. Vega could feel it in her bones that the only way this war would end was when a war broke out. If the Red Moon pack is not exterminated, it is obvious that Ivan will never give up. And Vega wasn't ready to go through such a thing, especially when she's expecting a baby. She wouldn't want to birth her child in a chaotic situation, especially when enemies are lurking around. She's been staying in the King's mansion, ever since the incident with Victoria. He refused to let her go back, even more so because Sandy was no longer around. Her friend had left the mansion for her to leave in. Who would have thought that things would get worse? She missed her old house so much and wished she could go back there. In the King's mansion. Vega requested a separate room because she still wasn't ready to be

Chapter 67 TEMPTED TO STAY

REYNOLD Reynold has been so busy at his company and monitoring Ivan's movements that he has forgotten that he has a pregnant mate at home, who needs his presence despite how stubborn she is. He felt her actual need every night he lay on his bed, wondering why she was in the next room. He listens to her very heartbeat and her state of mind. The reason he didn't bother to be with her yet was because he wanted her to accept him of her own free will. But he noticed that the more he delayed and waited, the more obvious the possibility became that she would never ask for his attention or accept him anytime soon. Reynold stared at his gold wristwatch, which was perfectly tied around his wrist. The time was now 4 p.m. already, and this meant that he had to be on his way home soon. While he was in the office getting things done, his beta walked into the office. "Stanley, perfect!" Reynold immediately left his desk and directed his beta to take a s

Chapter 68 FINALLY MARKED

VEGA The moment he walked in, she was aware because she perceived his scent, but then she was so sleepy that she couldn't lift her eyelids open. When he began walking close to her bed, her heart began to beat erratically. Not that she knew what he was about to do next, but she felt like she knew what was going to happen next. Reynold seemed to be staring at her in his long pause and silence. She began to wonder what he was thinking about at that very moment—if only she were that open-minded with him to ask. Suddenly, she could feel his face to hers even though her eyes were closed because she could feel his breath fanning her nostrils. His minty breath suddenly intoxicated her, and she felt like she needed more from where it came from. She began anticipating his touch, and just as she wished, he grazed her lips with his, which almost made her moan. This was something she had been anticipating for days now, and finally he touched hers at last.

Chapter 69 A STUPENDOUS ENDING

IVAN He had gathered enough rogues with whom he believed he could win the fight. The first plan for the mission was to go rescue his mate, father, and Alpha Gerald, who had supported him before now. The rest of the rogues would go rescue the other soldiers in Red Moon pack, while he would march to the King's mansion with his soldiers. They would kill each and every one of the king's followers. He would, then, fight the king in one-on-one combat. While his snipers will make a direct hit on him while they are fighting. Ivan smirked at his final plans with those who had pledged their allegiance to him. Finally, he's going to take charge of the war, and taking the throne is no longer far-fetched. While in deep thought, Michael sneaked at night since all operations would be carried out at night. "It is time, Alpha Ivan." Michael said in a whisper before opening the gates to the dungeon. Ivan immediately hurried out from the gates, and Michael led him outs
