A Kiss After Six Months

Damon's POVWe waited for everything to be sorted out before leaving the store, and throughout our walk back home Rose was oddly quiet. At least she respected my decision and we stayed away from the whole situation, getting the sheriff involved was more than enough.Anything else that happens afterwards is up to fate.Yes, fate.Who would have thought that I would become a believer of such things but then they say when life gives you lemons, you make lemonades."Would you like anything to snack on?" I asked Rose, breaking the silence between us as I slipped the keys into the keyhole, pushing the door open."No...on the contrary I would like us to talk" Rose replied instead. My heart literally skipped a beat as I froze for a second.I knew this was bound to happen but not at the moment, I had no idea what Rose wanted to talk about, could it be about us? Or another matter entirely."If you don't mind," she added, stepping into the house."Of course not" I answered almost immediately lik

Rosette POV.I fell in love again.Right now, right here, as Damon's lips moved softly against mine, I couldn't help but grab his shirt, leaning closer to him as we drank from each other.Sweet Lord!I've missed this man so fucking much. How I managed to stay away from him for months was something I would never understand not in this moment, not when I'm in his arms, probably never.Damon kissed me slowly, like he was reminiscing about all the times we spent with each other. He took his sweet time kissing me like I was going to disappear. The fervor in the kiss made me lightheaded for a second but I didn't want it to stop, I needed him like air.But then he pulled back slowly, "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself" Damon apologized, his hands dropping from my neck.Sorry?pIs this man insane or something??"Damon....""You have said enough Rose, whatever happened is in the past, it doesn't matter anymore, your mom, my issues none of it matters, and I need you to know that I never hated

Rosette's POV "After you left..." Damon started as he poured some oil on his hands before spreading them evenly on my left foot.Unlike many controversies, my pregnancy didn't come with a swollen nose and extremely gigantic feet, I was a bit swollen but at moderate sizes."I had no idea what to do, how to find you, why you left, when you left my whole world collapsed before me, I was shattered completely..." Damon continued, spreading the oil on my feet."Susan on the other hand was fighting for the properties and wanting her share in everything, I begged Nathan to give her everything in exchange for your whereabouts but he refused, Diego and Evelyn wouldn't get involved and I was rotting away...""I'm sorry I left" My throat tightened as our eyes locked.Damon smiled as he continued, switching to the other foot, "My mom and sister got a hang of what happened and demanded I come back to Africa, Susan sent them a voice note on how I destroyed her life and a lot of rubbish, so I figure

The End Of An Era

Rosette POV The End of an Era"Arghhhhhhhh" I screamed, grabbing the nearest thing I could hold which happens to be Damon's arms.Pain seared through my entire body, stealing the air from my lungs as I tried to steady my breath and at the same time register what the fuck was going on.Nothing prepared me for this immense pain as my fingers dug into Damon's arm, tears running down my face as he muttered some few words to me."Baby, I'm right here, everything is gonna be okay, take deep breaths please""Arghhhh" Another contraction slammed through me stronger than the first one as my back arched against the bed despite everything I do to stay still."No, no I can't do this" I cried out gripping the sheets with my other hand, I didn't even care how loud my voice was, or if I was the only patient in the hospital, I didn't understand how I could be in bed one minute, enjoying tummy rubs from Damon and the next minute I was screaming and begging for my life. The doors threw open as Kara an
