BRYER’s POV.I didn’t expect to find Malachi's wife here but seeing her with him and seeing the way Zachary kept looking at her until she left made me upset. He should be over her by now and he shouldn’t even be looking at her that way. I am mad at him yes but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten how my body felt underneath him. I can’t lie, he and Malachi are beasts when it comes to the bedroom game. I want to feel Malachi inside of me again but since I can’t have him yet, Nicholas can do that for me.“I didn’t know your ex wife still visited you” I say out loud, dropping my bag on the table and covering the space between us.“It’s none of your business, Bryer,” he tells me, lowering himself on the couch. “I know why she came here, she wanted to get the truth out of me and I told her. I know I would be arrested sooner or later but the fact that she came here to our house Is enough for me. I killed our unborn baby too, this is the least I can do for her. I care about her more than anyth

MALACHI’s POV.Today, I planned to stay at home all day with my wife, watching her favorite movies and fucking her into oblivion but a certain police commissioner couldn’t do his job, now here I am fully dressed up in my suit sitting across from him. The click click of my ball pen cuts through my train of thought and I realise I had been talking to me.“What did you say?” I ask him.“My apologies for what happened, Mr Bromte” he says again and I scoff.“Tell me what actually happened? You said it was safe right? How did someone get their hands on it?”“We are still trying to find that person, Mr Bromte” he says again, “I will keep you posted on…“Do I look like a fool to you?” I cut him off and a look of uncertainty flashes through his face. One thing I can not tolerate is someone lying to me, I hate it, I hate it so much that it makes my blood boil and the only thing I want to do now is grab him by the neck and make him spill the truth. Aside the fact that I try to do things in order

ODETTE’s POV.As soon as the car pulls up in front of the building, my jaw fucking drops to the ground. This is the Lincoln Center for the performing Arts, one of the most notable opera houses in New York City. I have never been here but I love operas. I guess it’s one of the perks of living amongst humans.“What are we doing here, Mason?”“Well” he shrugs, “don’t really know”Someone opens the car door for me and helps me step out.“Mrs Hernandez, we have been waiting for you” he says and I flash him a smile, “I am in charge of taking you inside to your seat”“Okay?” My eyes dart across the two men.“I am Brandon, I will be your chaperone for tonight”“Is my husband here?” I start to look around but I didn’t see a sign of him or his car.“We will have to go inside to see that” he flashes me a toothed smile again as Mason comes to stand beside me.“Sister in law, I will come at exactly eight to pick you up, okay?”“You aren’t coming in?”“Of course not”With a nod, he turns around and

BRYER’s POV.He has gone against everything that I believe in, my love and my hatred for him. He killed Rome, the only person who saw me as family in this damned world. He killed him and sent his body to me. For this, I will make him pay. I love him but he has made a mistake, a mistake that I will never be able to forgive. Maybe this is what we need, becoming arch enemies.I didn’t bat an eyelid taking the battered body of Rome to his front door. I want him to always remember what he did and how Rome looked when he died. I want Malachi to always remember that he is a murderer and he will pay for what he did. I love him to death but I also hate him in the same way.“Malachi!!” I continue to yell out his name, not caring if he is sleeping. I mean, how can he sleep? He killed one of his kind, he must face the consequences of his actions and I will take my revenge on him. Up until now I have been holding back because I love him and I want to be with him but now I am going to make it my li

MALACHI’s POV.“I am sorry alpha” he continues to beg but I promise him that that’s the last thing he will ever get to say. Giving wolf hunters details about my pack and I lost seven pack members because of him. It is a sin, one I am not going to forgive even if the moon goddess comes down.“I am supposed to be with my wife” I start talking, rolling up the sleeves of my shirt, “I am supposed to be taking care of her and our baby but I am stuck here with you because you chose to be a fool. Now you can’t blame me for what has happened, okay?”“Please…The words hang in his mouth when I slap him hard across the face and blood pools out of his nose.“I hate injustice the most, Alec” I tell him again, “and you made a very big mistake doing that, you know right?”“I am sorry”I grab a hold of his neck and fling him across the room, his body falls down with a loud thud and he groans in pain.“I lost seven pack members because of you” I grab a hold of his neck again and push him against the w
