EMILY'S POV “I'm done with you, Emily. I never knew you could stoop so low. Bringing a bastard child into my home to claim it's mine?" I felt air suck out of my lungs when my husband, Liam, uttered those words with rage in his eyes. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I held on to the front of my dress. My baby bump couldn't let me stand well but what broke me more was the look Liam gave me. It was filled with disgust and hatred, which made me doubt whatever I was going to say was going to change a thing. "Liam, please, this is our child..." I began but my voice faltered when a slap suddenly landed on my cheek. My gaze became blurry as more tears threatened to escape my eyes. It stung but the person who slapped me was none other than my fake sister. She was the princess while I was nothing but her shadow. “How could you lie to my face?" My sister yelled in front of me with pure hatred in his eyes. She cleaned her hand with a handkerchief as if I were a rag before stomping the handker

EMILY'S POVMaybe I heard wrong because Liam suddenly stepped back only to sit on our matrimonial bed. He crossed his long legs over another and undid the tie around his neck.“What do you mean Liam? Why a month?" I asked with uncertainty. The chandelier cast its soft glow on Liam, and he appeared even more attractive.“Just like you said" Liam began and undid the next two buttons of his shirt. His taut muscles caught my eyes and butterflies seemed to flap their wings in my stomach. This was one of the reasons women wished to bow their feet at Liam's feet. He is just too perfect and too handsome and I wasn't an exception to not get affected by his charm.Liam's next words seemed to bring me out of my world, and I shot a glare at him.“We were both forced into this marriage, Emily, and I won't stop you from leaving." Liam declared with confidence.Good. Liam wasn't going to deny the claim about my sister which is fine. I was right all along.“Then why after a month?" I asked without a

EMILY'S POV The time seemed to stop the moment Liam crashed his lips over mine. Maybe I was hallucinating but I wasn't sure either if this was an illusion. Though it felt so real. His mint smell enveloped me, throwing me into a whirlwind of emotions while my heart pounded loudly against my ribcage. Goosebumps spread across my exposed skin, and I shivered against his tall frame. His free hand rested on my waist and I felt so small, so powerless and fragile against Liam's chest. Liam would never kiss me. He never did except when we were having sex, but what changed? I shook the stupid thought that filled my head, almost making my head fuzzy away. I pressed my hand on his chest, trying to push him away but Liam didn't bulge. Who am I kidding? Liam has spent most of his leisure time in the gym. There was nothing he was not good at, even the kissing part. My hormones took charge, and I moaned into the kiss like molten magma. The sound that escaped my lips scared me because Liam sudd

“Woah. I guess everyone could see that. Mrs. Nolan and Aysel are wearing the same dress." The MC spoke into the microphone.I smiled at Aysel who managed to smile back at me. She must be weeping inside now because I remembered how she boasted about how much the dress cost in my past life. She had blabbered that they were just two copies of it and she was probably the first one to get it which was why I begged Chelsea to get the same dress. It was worth the trouble after all, I want to see if her ego has been crushed now. This is just the beginning of Aysel's misery.“This is the definition of a happy family. This is what we call true love between two sisters." The MC continued while the people clapped their hands with a smile on their faces.Aysel walked towards me and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back, returning the gesture.“You surprised me, Emily. You should have let me know you will be getting the same dress." Aysel said with gritted teeth. Her voice was barely above a wh

“Liam, stop it. I told you I wanted a divorce," I said but no words came out of my lips. It was all in my head and maybe a part of me wanted this. Maybe a part of me still hopes Liam will eventually come to love me and not my sister but this is just wishful thinking. What kind of temptation is this? “Look at you getting red, Emily. Tell me," Liam said with sarcasm before moving his hand resting down the side of my body. “You want this" He said his hot mint breath fell on my neck. My body flushed as his hand trailed the curve of my body. I almost closed my eyes to enjoy this beautiful feeling and also let it take over my entire being as desires pulsated through me. Liam took a few steps back and pinched the middle of his eyebrows, leaving me all alone and I felt alone. ”What is the meaning of what you just did, Liam?" I asked after taking a deep breath. My face is still as red as a tomato because I suddenly feel hot from inside. He already riled me up without touching
