After the situation in the bathroom with Archer, he helped me out of the bath still without looking at my body and even organised some comfy clothes for me to change into, I was placed into bed by him with a kiss before drifting to sleep. The situation I had found myself in yesterday drifting from my mind. Waking up to the sound of two knocks on the door, I open my eyes to find Archer walking into the bedroom with a smile on his lips and fully ready to start the day. Feeling unusually tired, I turn to look at the clock and was shocked to see what time looked back at me, 4am! “Why are you waking me up at 4 in the morning?” I ask in my croaky morning voice, my brain seeming to not fully come with the world at this hour, I was still exhausted. “There is an appointment that both you and I will need to attend this morning, so you need to get up and ready, so we’ll arrive in time.” He begins to inform me but with how tired my mind was, all of his words drifted away as I slowly slipped

It was as though my brain couldn’t quite comprehend what it was seeing and who it was seeing all at the same time, my feet causing me to come to an abrupt halt as Hadwin and I locked eyes. Such shock filling my face but on his, such happiness and relief now he had seen me in the flesh once again. Archer walks through the pack house on the way to his office for the meeting with Emmett, the invisible rumble of such immense power as his feet continue to pound on the ground under him. Any person in his vicinity instinctively back away due to the black cloud of power, anger and such a pure outpouring of hatred which oozed from him like a deep wound, such a feeling that sent shivers down the spines of his enemies and strangers alike. But one thing which most noticed was different in that moment, was the smile on his lips. I continued marching down the path closer to the pack house, the same lecture that my father would repeat any chance that he would get whilst I was growing up went around in my head continuously. The food which was prepared for us was so incredibly delicious, there were items on the plate I had never even heard about before. In my father's pack, even though I was a part of the Alpha’s family and in most, you have cooks that prepare each of your meals, my father didn’t want Hadwin and I to grow up entitled so as soon as we were old enough, we made all our meals. I don’t know about Hadwin, but I knew I didn’t have the culinary skills to pull dishes such as this off! I thought the room would be filled with an awkward tension, Archer and I have only recently had the capability to sit in a room and not be at each others' throats, metaphorically and literally.
