REGINA“I don’t understand, Gwen. What did you mean by I had taken off?”“The thing is after you dropped me off at my apartment, I came up with the idea that perhaps we needed to take some time off. You know, attend a party or something. As soon as I got to your house, you were lying unconscious against the couch. It was when I nudged you to wake you up that you awoke but then, you shifted into your wolf form and growled away, almost like you were angry at something…”Oh, Ruby… I thought sadly. Ruby must have wanted some time to take off into the wild, to be alone, some time to heal. I instantly remembered what Ruby had told me and thought about telling Gwen but decided to give it a little time. Gwen needed to know indeed, but perhaps not now. I needed her to heal completely.“And when I took off?”“I chased after you. You kept running into the wild, past the boundaries of the pack and down into the forest. You were totally out of control

REGINA“Nobody has said no to me before, Gina girl.” He laughed evilly, enjoying the fact that he could keep me in his grip.“Well, you’ve not met me.” I was getting much angrier. “As you’re standing before me, you’re totally disgusting to me, and I wish I could open my eyes and watch you disappear.” I gave back the entire truth of my thoughts without hesitation and instantly, I pulled my hand from his grip and turned away. The last thing I expected was that he’d pull me back again and this time, more harshly than before. I growled in shock and anger, not particularly afraid of him, but filled with disgust and repulsion as he tried to force his lips on mine.“Let me go!” I screamed.“Don’t bother yelling, Regina. No one is going to hear you.”Shit! The office was soundproofed. All those women would be out there thinking a successful interview was going on while this bastard was trying to force himself on me. “Stay away!

LIONEL It was not easy to clear my head in the house, not with all the people from different packs trooping into the house to see my grandpa and greet me in anticipation of the coming marriage ceremony. With each day, it was getting realer. Some of the women already came in with decoration items and grandpa had hired some men to handle some carpentry, all for the goddamned wedding! “You know all these aren’t necessary, grandpa.” I whispered to him as I approached him in the large hall just before the study in the mansion where he was busy giving orders to some men installing new chandeliers to the ceiling. “How about you just smile and stop acting like you would shift into a wolf and tear one of them to a million pieces?” grandpa replied as casually and calmly as ever. He wasn’t even moved by everything I was trying to say. I was getting bored with all the activities disturbing my peace within the house and thought it was best to move out with Ryker to ease off, except… Where th

LIONEL“HEY! ARE ANY OF THE BABES OUT THERE? GET THE GODDAMNED MUSIC ON!”The fool was yet to even understand what was about to happen. I watched him as he waited but the only response that he got was silence. Then he grumbled again about the music and slowly relaxed back into the water. He didn’t even get my scent. There was so much foam, so much booze and of course, he was just too stupid. Then I made my own move.I held him by the hair and dipped his head into the water before he knew it. I could feel him in my hands as he gargled and spun, struggling for life beneath the water, unable to breathe. His hand held mine, his claws sticking out as his wolf spirit began to take over, struggling to tear free from my grasp but his scratches and piercing were only pinches to me.But the plan was not to kill him. No way… There was no way I’d just let him die without knowing who was there to torment him. Moreover, even though it wouldn’t be track

REGINAFrankenstein must be a life saver that had been sent to me by the goddess herself. I was really nervous about having to go see Sir Lucky of this Goldie Pack of a thing, but I just had to remind myself that it was only the post-traumatic stress disorder from what Damian had done.We greeted Frankenstein goodbye, sending our condolences as well for the loss.Frankenstein had only shrugged in reply. “Damian and I got nothing together, just business. It’s alright.”I really also wanted to know how it was going at Sun Entertainment now that Lionel had me packing but didn’t bother to ask anyway. It was good luck to them. Nothing concerned me with Sun Entertainment anymore. As I and Gwen made our back to the house, there was so much to talk about. “Damian is dead?” Gwen screamed again for the fifth time in disbelief. “Damn! This is straight up karma for what that piece of shit did to you!” I sighed. “Yeah, he was an a
