Midas POV 'I want this forever.' That was the mantra that kept coming into my head as I settled into the kiss Crystal had initiated. I had not expected that she would want to kiss me but I had nothing against it either. We never got around to making love when we were together but we kissed a lot. It was our favorite past time. I remembered that Crystal had jokingly said that she hoped we would not forget that we were free to make love after we got married. It was our decision to stay the way we were until we got married. Crystal was a virgin then but I was not but for her, I was willing to wait until she was ready. I changed the angle of our kiss and dug my hand into her hair while massaging her scalp. Damn all consequences I was ready to make love to her there and then. Goodness knows I had waited long enough. Crystal suddenly withdrew from the kiss blushing bright red and apologizing as if she had just unknowingly killed someone. 'Why are you apologizing this way Cryst

Crystal's POV 'That must be Mr St Clair,' CC said and jumped up to get the door. We were in Eric's father's house for the dinner the family was having with Midas. My heart immediately started beating so fast that I was sure Eric could hear it. I had not heard from Midas since he dropped me off at Eric's house. I had asked Karen if she heard from him several times and she had said she didn't. I looked forwards to him calling me or Karen. Since I knew Karen was also working for Midas, I felt safer in the house but not hearing from Midas gave me some sort of sadness. Eric's mother came to the house on Thursday and gave me a package she said Midas had dropped off for me. When I opened it, it was a beautiful dress in a shade of blue. I had to hide my happiness in the presence of Eric's mum but after she left, Karen and I had a field day admiring the dress. 'He delivered a package to CC too. I guess he is already taking care of the family even before he is married to CC. He must

Crystal’s POV My heart was jumping so fast as the car Midas had sent to get me journeyed the busy road. I was smiling happily at the fact that I was going to see Midas, my Midas. I had looked forward to our meeting since Friday. He had not contacted me, even if he had done so, he might not have been able to reach me because my phone was destroyed. The phone was on the verge of destruction so my throwing it at the wall destroyed it totally. I had asked Karen if she heard from Midas but she said no. Something about the way she answered my question showed that she was lying but I didn't push her. I had not seen Eric since Friday night when he attempted to rape me. I didn't come out of my room the whole day on Saturday. It took all of Karen's will power to get me out of the room on Sunday. She assured me that Eric had not been home since Friday night. For precautions, I asked her to keep the door locked just in case Eric returns, I would have enough time to escape back to my r

Midas’ POV I couldn't concentrate on my work so I turned my chair to face the glass wall and view the busy city outside. My mind was preoccupied with the singular fact that I wanted and needed to see Crystal. It's been three days since she was at my pent house. I made sure that I handed her a new phone before she left that day. I also took her to the site of the eatery just to make sure that I confuse anyone that was following her. Although, my security team said she was not being followed but I needed to be sure I wasn't bringing suspicion to us. I needed to hasten my plans because the distance was beginning to affect me. Although I was talking to her every minute through chats, I wasn't satisfied. The door of my office opening brought me out of my reverie and I turned my chair around to see that it was Edmond, my personal assistant. ‘I decided to check up on you since you didn't send the file back,’ Edmond said taking his seat opposite me. I sighed a little and said, '

Eric's POV ‘I am sorry sir. I think the only way we can rectify this to some extent is to get your wife’s speech about supporting you at a time like this out there,’ my lawyer said. We were in my dad's home office. It's been three days since the video of me having sex with Adele went viral and like a coward, I had stayed hidden in my parent's house. ‘I don't think Crystal will be willing to do that for me,’ I said shaking my head. ‘She doesn't have any option. She has to do what we demand of her. Her goddamn father milks this family all in the name of taking care of her invalid grandmother. She must do whatever we want,’ my mum said passionately from her place at the window. ‘What if she doesn't want to?’ I asked. I knew I deserved no pity or concern from Crystal. I was not deserving of anything from her. ‘Like I said before, she doesn’t have any option. Give her a call and get her here immediately. We can record a tape of her talking in this room. She doesn't have to t
