Chapter 21 Identical Twins

Azalea's POVI stood there confused as he disappeared before my eyes. He disappeared into the shadow near the wall, and I stood there in shock. How could he do that? Instead of going for a walk, I turned around and headed back upstairs to my room. Once there, I lay down, and the events with him unfolded before my eyes. The moment I realized he was my mate. Instead of the reaction I've heard so much about, I received the complete opposite. He looked horrified to find out I was his mate. That didn't just sting a little; It felt like someone ripped my heart in half. I had heard so much about those tingles and always wondered what it would feel like when my time finally came and I found my mate. If he wouldn't accept me, I at least wanted to feel those tingles. I didn't expect them to feel so good. I didn't expect it to connect me to him even more. I didn't expect it to hurt so bad to hear him say he could never be with me, and I had never been so frightened in my life. The only thing t

Chapter 22 Searching for their mates

Third Person's POV The twins were bubbling with excitement as they drove to the east side of the peninsula. Xavier focused on the road while Theo and the twins sang with the radio. Damien sat in the front passenger seat, scrolling through his emails and text messages, replying to the packs that responded to their request for a visit. “Well, that was the last one. They've all agreed to allow us to visit.” Damien said as he marked off the ones they visited the day before. The hotel they stayed in was 45 minutes behind them, and their first destination of the day was coming up on their right. The car slows, and the twins squeal as they turn into the long drive. They peer out the window, look into the woods, and wonder if their mate is out there. This pack seemed more rustic. The long driveway leading into the pack was gravel, and the guard house looked old. The car came to a stop as the guards approached, and Xavier rolled the window down. “My name is Xavier Davis,” Xavier said, a

Chapter 23 An awkward lunch

Third Person's POV The inside of the pack house matched the outside. It was very uninviting. The place was spotless and looked unlived in.It was oddly quiet, too quiet for a pack house. The maids were easily spotted; they were wearing black-and-white outfits. Xavier and Damien were alarmed when they saw two male Omegas wearing maid dresses, but a moment later, they saw another male Omega wearing black-and-white pants and a shirt.“Are your male Omegas forced to wear those dresses, or is that a choice?” Xavier asked.“Oh no! That's their choice! Those are our fem boys, or in the bedroom, they're called sissies,” Anton said, and Mark chuckled. The Alpha bit at his thumbnail as he looked over his shoulder at the two fem boys and shook his head when he saw one bend over and expose his ass. The sound of Xavier's throat clearing had the Alpha looking forward and smiling at Xavier. “I thought he missed a spot,” Anton said, and Mark snorted. After walking to the other side of the pack ho

Chapter 24 A knock at the door

Third Person's POV Theo sat on the bed, hugging the pillow and fiddling with it as Xavier paced the room. Damien followed closely behind, desperately trying to talk him down. The words spilled from the Alpha's mouth as he mumbled about choking the idiot, stabbing him in his sleep, slicing his throat, and ripping his heart out. Xavier had every death possible for Anton planned out by the time he was done pacing and just needed to choose which one was the right course of action. “M-maybe he's not as bad as he seemed. I mean, he was much different once he had Ollie in his lap. Maybe he just needed a little push to get there?” Theo said, and Xavier and Damien both stopped and looked at him. The Omega plucked at the pillow harder, and Damien crumbled. He quickly moved toward his Omega and climbed into bed. “I'm sorry! I didn't mean to forget about you. I just didn't want our Alpha to do something he would regret,” Damien said, and Theo immediately shook his head. “No! He has every rig

Chapter 25 Leo's anger

Third Person's POVXavier, Damien, and Theo spent the week with the twins and their new mates, and at the end of the week, they knew it was time to go. Even though they didn't want to leave their sons, they knew they had to. Neither twin wanted to leave their mate, and their parents couldn't force them—not without starting a war, which would only hurt the twins. “We'll be back next weekend to check on you. I want a call at least once a day,” Xavier said as he held the twins' faces, one cheek in each hand.Xavier looked back at Anton as he spoke.“If I don't hear from my son before I go to sleep I'm showing up and knocking on your door. And I'm not referring to the front gate or the front door of this pack house. I’m referring to YOUR door! There isn't a guard here that can stop the beast inside from getting to his sons, so I don't recommend crossing me!” Xavier said sternly, and his eyes flashed brown, the color of Bear’s eyes.Driving away and leaving their sons in that pack was one

Chapter 26 Rules

Third Person's POV Leo refused to go to Brandon's room. He didn't want to share a room with someone who accepted Anton's behavior. No amount of begging and pleading from Brandon worked. The Omega returned to the room he spent with his parents the past week. Unfortunately, once he was inside the room and all alone, it was suddenly the last place he wanted to be. It felt suffocating in there; the walls felt like they were closing in on him. He snuggled the pillows his parents slept on, but it was no good. No one was there to hold him. No one was there to tell him everything would be okay. It was empty and quiet—too quiet! When Leo couldn't handle the silence any longer, he opened his door and found Brandon sitting outside, leaning against the wall. The Beta looked up, and Leo's lip trembled. As soon as Brandon opened his arms, Leo flew into them, crashing against the Beta's chest. “Can I take you to my room?” Brandon asked, and Leo nodded against his chest. Brandon collected the Ome

Chapter 27 Their past

Third Person's POV Ollie sat quietly in a chair while Leo and Brandon argued. If the Omega weren't so sad, he would have laughed at how nervous Brandon looked as Leo laid into him while waving the rules in his face.Brandon dropped his head and let out a breath when his mate turned away from him. Brandon wasn't sure what his brother was thinking. He didn't expect Anton to give Leo almost the same exact set of rules he gave Ollie. The only difference is that he's not asking Leo to call him Daddy, but he expects Brandon to punish him if he falls out of line.“If you don't, I will?... Who the fuck does he think he is?!” Leo yelled, repeating what Anton told Brandon when he saw the expression on his brother's face, letting him know he had no intentions of punishing Leo. Brandon had to restrain his mate to stop him from climbing over the desk to get to his brother. He was shocked at the words that flew out of his mouth. No one had ever talked to his brother like that. He thought he was g

Chapter 28 A phone call home

Third Person's POV Maverick was surprised when Coal wanted to play a game of chess on Monday evening. Their game day is normally Wednesdays, and seeing as Maverick was going stir-crazy and about to lose his mind because his other half wouldn't stop crying about his “pretty little angel,” Maverick jumped at the opportunity for a distraction. Before the game even started, Maverick sensed something was wrong. The normal nonchippery Alpha was even less chippery than normal. It was like someone twisted the stick in his ass and bent it sideways. “So, are you going to tell me what's on your mind?” Maverick asked as he sat back in his chair and folded his arms over his chest. Coal blows out a breath as he sits back in his chair and drags his hand down his face. “I'm worried about my brothers.”“Which ones? Your parents popped children out like bunnies! You have a lot of Brothers,” Maverick said and Coal's face scrunched up in disgust. “The twins,” Coal said before reaching up and moving

Chapter 29

Third Person's POV Leo wondered what this meeting with Cynthia would be like. He had a bad feeling about it. The way Anton spoke of going to see her sounded like she was going to choose a position for him without asking what he would like to do. He gave his mate and brother one last glance before entering her office. As soon as he laid eyes on her, the bad feeling only intensified. She was older, and there was nothing warm and inviting about her. She didn't even acknowledge him as he approached her desk. She continued reading something on the screen for a few moments before finally pulling her eyes away and looking at him.Her eyes moved up and down his body as if judging who he was based on his appearance. “You're Leo, right?” She asked as she looked back at her computer and clicked the mouse several times. “Yes.”“Hmmm. Are you sexually active?” She asked, and Leo's eyes widened. “Sexually active?”“Yes. Are you sexually active? Do you like having sex with people?” “W-What? Wha

Chapter 30 The Darkroom

Third Person's POV Ollie had never been so terrified and humiliated in his life. It all happens so fast. He begged and pleaded, but before he knew it, his mate had him stripped naked and face down on the chair in the middle of the room. The back of the chair had been laid flat, and his chest lay flush against it. His hands were strapped to two bars below his face, and his knees rested on red padding that sat lower and off to each side, making it as if he were kneeling with his legs spread open. He lays completely exposed, with his penis and balls hanging off the table and his cheeks spread open from his position. His whole body lays on display as tears flow from his eyes. His ass cheeks sting and burn. He's not sure how many times Anton hit him with the crop. Ollie's body jerks when he feels several strands of something gliding along his body. It feels much different than the crop. It's surprisingly soothing and feels good. The little strands lightly trailed along his back, neck,
