ALPHA ELEO’S POVWe made a U-turn and drove at a medium speed going to the south part of the city. I tried to make my sense of smell even stronger so that even a very faint smell of Adamantem would not pass through my nose unnoticed. I focused and none of the warriors inside the car tried to make any noise. They too were too observant as we went along our way to the south part.We have been traveling far already but I could not anymore smell even the slightest of Adamantem’s scent. We returned to our booked lodging house, disappointed.“Men, we need to be early tomorrow, we will still go south but we will turn left this time on the first crossroad, since tonight we just went straight south,” I said informing my warriors of my plan tomorrow.“Yes, Alpha,” the warriors replied almost at the same time.“Meantime, you may take your rest and after an hour, we will go out for dinner. There are restaurants nearby,” I said again, to which my warriors answered yes and nodded in agreement. We h

ERIN'S POVAt the onset that I saw Ada, I was already drawn to her. Her Barbie-like appearance made me wonder where on earth she came from. Her ways beguiled me. So, I readily agreed when my mother informed me that she wanted to shelter her in the meantime and that would be our own home. Mother wanted her to stay with us.Although I have my own home, I eat and stay most of the time at my mother's house. That would give me ample opportunity to see her.Suddenly, an idea came up inside my wise mind. I used my Vet Clinic to be with her more. I offered a job to her, and instantly she became my Vet Clinic's receptionist. And tonight, I took the opportunity to take her on a dinner date. I brought her to my favorite restaurant and I was happy that she liked and appreciated the place. After our dinner, I felt like not going home yet."Ada, would it be alright if we go to a nice pub place with a live band and wine and beers?" I asked her, hoping she would agree. She thought for a while then no

ALPHA ELEO’S POVHearing Adamantem say that she did not want to speak with me was the most painful word I ever heard. Observing how the way that man, she called Erin looked at her, I could tell that he was into her, or maybe they were even dating now.I entered my car and drove it furiously. I did not anymore dare to glance at Erin’s and Adamantem’s car when I passed by with them. I don’t want to be furious more. Just thinking of Erin touching Adamantem made my blood boil to its maximum limit. I wanted to strangle Erin, but I don’t know why even my voice lowered down as I spoke with him. It was as if something was controlling me to be angry and violent at that time. There was something about that Erin that I wanted to discover along with my plan of getting back Adamantem.I returned to the resto-bar where I left my warriors. They were still drinking beers when I arrived and sat beside them.“Alpha Eleo, where have you been? We wanted to follow you but then we realized we do not have a

Adamantem’s POVErin and I were silent inside the car until we reached their house. Before I could get out of his car, Erin held my wrist and stopped me from getting out.“Ada, what if Alpha Eleo would come and visit you in the Vet Clinic? Would you be joining him back to his Village?”I was not able to answer him that easily, because deep inside my heart and my mind were arguing. I simply shook my head and in a low voice replied to him. “To be honest, I cannot answer that now, Erin.“I understand. No worries. Come, let us get inside the house now.” Erin got out of the car and then assisted me. If only I could convince my heart now and of course my wolf, Ada that it was better to choose Erin than Alpha Eleo, I might probably do. But, I know very well that I cannot be able to do that. The mate bond between me and Alpha Eleo was still so strong. That night, I was not able to sleep well again. Alpha Eleo’s hurt expression haunted me.The next day, when we were already approaching the Vet

Adamantem’s POVI watched Beta Gani walk out of the restaurant with confusion. I was bothered by what he said. Did Thermally set me up? Beta Gani was right. How could I be the right Luna for Alpha Eleo if I could not digest so easily if someone was fooling or lying to me? I was so gullible, I was convinced so easily without even thinking that the person whose words, I believed was actually an enemy.I sat inside the restaurant for a couple of minutes before I decided to stand up and return to the Vet Clinic. I just felt stupid and my mind has been consumed by the words of Beta Gani the whole afternoon.“Ada, I noticed that you seemed to be restless the whole afternoon. Is there something bothering you?” Erin asked when we were about to close the Vet Clinic’s door all ready to go home.I nodded to Erin. I don’t want to lie. I had a lot of lies in my life already. I don’t want to add more. “I am, Erin. Indeed I was not in myself and proper frame of mind the whole day after I spoke with
