Alle Kapitel von Bianca's reclaimed heart: Kapitel 11 – Kapitel 20

Bianca’s POV “Bianca,” Raymond called out from behind, but I was too consumed with rage to actually stop. “Bianca!!” He thundered again, this time so loud that the flowers even shook in fear, that was when I stopped.“What?” I growled back, my eyes blaring red hot. “Do you know you are still in my clothes? Were you really going to go out like this?” He shot back, his eyes scanning me from my head to toe. It was then the whirlwind of anger calmed down a bit. Consumed by rage, I had totally forgotten I was still in his clothes which were clearly oversized for me. I looked like a beggar in these. “Uhmmmn, thank you.” I cowered, my face partly void of the overwhelming anger that etched on it. “What was the call about?” Raymond asked, his voice calmer than before. I kept mute for a while, then finally spoke up. I told Raymond who was surprisingly patient and calm all my boutique manager said over the phone.“I didn't know you had so many things added to your portfolio? You are in th

Raymond's POV “Open the damn gate!” I growled in frustration. I was mad that the security man seemed to be taking his time as he sluggishly rolled open the gate, and to make matters worse, Sam’s number wasn't connecting anymore. “Sorry sir.” The aged security man uttered as his eyes locked with my gaze. I didn't know what I felt. I was angry. Angry at Bianca for not allowing me to join her, angry at the damn network service. But above all I was scared to my pants. I have never been overwhelmed by fear since I lost my mother in an accident but after the call with Sam, fear clothed me. “You can lock up, don't wait for me.” I instructed the housekeeper who stood silently at the door before jumping into the driver's seat and zooming off. The road was less busy than earlier. The only sound audible in the silent night was that of my car engine and other vehicles on the road. “Why do you have to be so stubborn, Bianca?” I murmured as I ran my left palm across my face, my mind tryin

Bianca's POV “Why can't he just leave me alone.” I rhetorically asked myself as soon as Raymond closed the door behind him. Trying to calm myself down, I took a deep breath and gulped down the remaining drop of water in the cup. I had to be strong, for my own sake. I couldn't let anyone see me weak, or worse take advantage of my current situation, especially not after what I had just gone through. I won't! I smoothed out my hospital gown, trying to compose myself before the guest who the nurse had said was here to see me came in. “But who could it be?” I asked myself. “I wasn't expecting anyone. Or did my former assistant and friend find out I was here?” “Well whoever it is. His or her presence was what I actually needed to scare off and drive away Raymond.” I closed my eyes, steeling myself for whatever was about to happen. And then, I heard the door to my hospital room swing open.I opened my eyes, and my heart sank. Standing in the doorway, with a smug look on her face, was

Bianca's POV “Who was this Raymond guy really, I thought in my head as I sat stunned in silence crossed by the seat belt on the private helicopter which was soaring above the earth.”As the wind whipped through my hair, I tried to have a grasp on what had just happened. One minute, I was in the hospital, reeling from the news of my pregnancy. The next, Raymond was whisking me away in a helicopter, taking me away from the city I had ever known.I had watched a lot of Cinderella, kind of romantic scenes while growing up but never had I known or ever thought my life would one day be like one of those scenes. As I gazed out the window, I couldn't stop my mind from going back to the web of thoughts and options of who Raymond was. He was so calm and collected, even in the face of chaos. And yet, there was a sense of power and authority about him that was unnerving.“Where are you taking me to?” I blurted out as I twisted my face in fake anger, my eyebrow contorted into a furrow. The tr

The ringtone from the telecom I hadn't noticed its presence until it rang jolted me off my sleep. “Ma’am, dinner is ready and Mr Raymond is already seated waiting for you.” The caller let out immediately I picked up the phone. “Okay, I’ll be out in a few minutes.” I answered quickly just before dashing into the bathroom. I felt disorientated. How had it gotten so late? I had meant to just rest for a little while, but I must have fallen asleep. I quickly turned on the shower and stepped under the warm water, feeling it wash away the remnants of sleep. As I showered, I couldn't help but think about how my life had changed in just a couple of weeks. It seemed like just yesterday I was left broken and confused not knowing the next step to take after that crazy Diego had taken the house. And now, here I was, living in a luxurious penthouse and dining with a wealthy businessman. It was all so surreal.I quickly finished my shower and got dressed in a beautiful red dress that Mrs. Jenkins
