“You know I continued painting even when I was held captive back at Xavier’s residence and I found a clue” I said.“You found a clue?” Julian asked.“Yes, I found a clue hidden in the painting” I said. “Wow…… I never knew this painting could hold something like that” Julian said.“I need to show you something” I said as I stood from the bed and walked towards the painting. I tilted the painting sideways to show Julian the hidden phrase I found in the painting“Do you see this?” I said to Julian as I pointed to a part on the painting. Julian came forward and took a closer look at the painting and finally he saw the hidden phrase.“Yes!…. I see it!” Julian said.I put the replica back in its original position and then took the original painting and tilted it sideways in the same position as I did the replica.“Do you see it here too?” I asked Julian.Julian looked in the same direction at the painting. “Yes, I see it there too. Mr Blackwood finally decides to visit his new drug making lab hidden in an abandoned wharf as he arrived there in his car and a few of his men. Xavier was notified of Mr Blackwood’s presence as he hurried down to the wharf to welcome him.By the time Xavier got to the wharf, Mr Blackwood had already helped himself inside to inspect.“I didn’t know you’d be coming today……I would have welcomed you properly sir,” Xavier said.“I didn’t realized I would have to inform you before coming,” Mr Blackwood said while looking around.“No not at all sir, that’s not what I meant……you’re always welcome to come anytime, I mean it’s your lab sir,” Xavier said. Mr Blackwood ignored Xavier and went into the next room where the ball boys were formulating and making the GB-3.Mr Blackwood looked around, came close to where the finished product was packaged in pills and in blister packs in pairs and then the unfinished substance. He scooped some with a tiny looking spoon and smelled it to be sure it was

Finally Detective Garrett has created enough time to meet with David who is being held hostage and undergoing treatment.Detective Garrett walked into the lodge where David was held hostage and saw him lying on the bed, stripped to a drip.“This was the best I could do for me……I’m currently low on funds,” the informant said.“Thank you for this, I’ll definitely pay you back,” Detective Garrett said as he approached David who was still unconscious.“How long do you think before he will gain consciousness,” Detective Garrett asked.“I’m not an expert but at most in a couple of days, give or take,” the informant said.“He had better be up soon…..he’s got a lot of answering to do,” Detective Garrett said.“One thing has always bothered me and I’ve always been meaning to ask you this” the informant said.“What is that?” Detective Garrett asked.“Why are you so hell bent on this case?……if I recall correctly, you asked to be transferred here. I mean, there must be some back story that I am n

“It’s pretty simple, paint the damn replica or you die. We don’t have to be dramatic about it” Xavier said.“Please don’t kill me, I am as good as dead the moment I paint the replica. Please let me go and I won’t say a word” Frieda pleaded.“Agree to paint the replica and you won’t have to die, it’s quite simple don’t you think?” Xavier said. “Why does it have to be me?” Frieda asked.“You were the easiest to trick into buying one of your pieces, what’d did you call it? Resonance?” Xavier said and burst into laughter and went away to the restroom. It was at this point that Frieda knew that she had woefully made a grave mistake and there seem to be no way out. She suddenly remembered her uncle’s words to be careful and wished she had just listened to her head instead of her heart. In the process of regretting her decisions, Frieda felt a slight bulge in the back pocket of her jeans and remembered that she had put the pen recorder Detective Garrett had given her as a present the last

Detective Garrett began to sob in pain and deep hurt.“I’m so sorry pumpkin….I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to protect you….I’m so sorry, please wake up and say something. I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry” Detective Garrett kept saying as he ran his hands over her face, still unable to believe that his only niece and relative left was gone. “How you must have felt all alone and scared pumpkin…..I shouldn’t have let you go, I shouldn’t have let you go” Detective Garret kept muttering as he held her body in his arms and wept profusely. Just then the pen recorder fell out of Frieda’s pocket and Detective Garrett remembered he gave it to her and then held onto it instead as he wailed while holding her body. After a couple of long minutes with his niece, Detective Garret was finally able to let go of her body for the morgue
