James pov. The pain lingered in my chest as we returned from the forest, the bodies of my warriors , ones who I have personally trained, haunted my mind. There was no way I could forget about them, how was I going to break this news to their families.?.That they were killed in the first by rogues? These were highly trained men, best in their fields, they knew these woods more than anyone else, but yet, somewhere The rogues had managed to end their lives. “You Know, you don't have to be so hard on yourself” Jon’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts as he walked beside me. I sighed. Tilting my head to look at him, “let's just bury them” Jon paused his lips, seemed he had something to say but decided not to, then he nodded. I walked straight towards the pack house, ezekiel needed to know about this, I needed to deliver this message to Ezekiel. The rogues have started their attacks on us and it was high time we returned the favour. As the sun shined brightly in the sky now, its gol

Silas pov. I sat on my throne, the weight of the room settling around me like a familiar cloak, I nodded, staring at nothing. The dark wood beneath my fingers was cold, smooth from years of use. It was one of my best friends, or should I say, my companion as it had been with me for a very long time. I placed the tobacco pipe between my lips, its bowl filled with rich, earthy tobacco, one which I had carefully hand-picked. That was how i loved it, I was selective and I would prefer picking it myself, rather than being given one which I would end up not fancying As I sat there, The faint smell filled the air, mixing with the dampness of the stone walls.I took a slow drag, feeling the smoke fill my lungs before I exhaled a thin, curling ribbon toward the ceiling. There is this soothing feeling when you draw in the right amount of smoke and then puff it out into the air, it brings this soothing feeling which would definitely leave the rest of your day blessed and fulfilled. As I

Auren's pov. One minute I was on the training ground and the next I wasn't there anymore. I had felt a sudden heat wave all over my body, then a strong hand which felt Like they were made of steel grabbed me from behind. My eyes were locked on James, I could see him taking a step forward, eyes and mouth wide open like he was about to reach out. Probably say something or help. However, the hands around me got stronger and tighter, it happened just for a split second and then, I was out of there. When I opened my eyes, I was already standing in a foreign land, my hands were chained already and beside me was a man.I looked Up at him, he was tall, just as tall as James if not slightly taller, he had a neutral expression however, I could feel a certain energy emanating from him. It was clear this man was powerful. Of course he was, he had just teleported the both of us from the training ground to this unknown place. For a moment I was lost staring at him. However, the heavy metal on m

Auren’s pov. I was back to my loneliness, the cell was dark again, I must admit that I had kind of liked the company of mira. Though I had just known her, she seemed like a nice person, and to think that she was of the Same age range as me, made it even cooler. My only fear was if she was just a spy, maybe alpha silas had sent her over to get some information from me, or maybe get me to be her friend, probably to lure me over to his side. A naughty laugh escapes my lips, the latter was less likely to be the case, however, the firmer, may just be the answer to my questions. Another thing I didn't want to overlook was the sadness in mira's eyes, though she had tried to mask it with the smile he had put on, it was still there, I had seen through all that happy and playful face. I find myself thinking what must probably be the problem, which also made me think that maybe she was also a prisoner or held against her will. Or maybe it was still all part of silas plan. Hours passed

Ezekiel’s pov. I leaned against the oak tree, letting my back rest against the bark. The wind rustled the leaves, and for a moment, it felt like the tree was speaking to me. Like it was trying to tell me to hold on. Be patient. Be strong. It must be in my imagination, but I was ready to go with the flow. How could I be patient? How could I be strong?I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.“I will find you,” I said. “No matter what it takes. I promise.”Even as I said those words, I knew something deep in my heart, this was Auren’s moment. His time to grow, to fight, to survive. I hated the thought, but maybe the world was forcing him to become strong. To stop depending on us. Maybe, just maybe, this was his path to becoming the man he was meant to be.Still, I wanted to be there for him, I wanted to protect him from every wound, every fear. But it seemed I won't be able to do that, and that truth hurt more than anything.“Kailey doesn’t sleep unless I lie beside her,” I muttered
