The darkness in his voice raced fearful shivers down my spine. Although Soren said those words with a soft, harmless smile, there was a fierce look in his eyes—one that mirrored the underlying darkness in his voice—which made me shudder and a little scared. Unconsciously, I took a few steps back, and Soren's gaze remained fixed on me with this feverish wildness like a predator spotting it’s prey.I needed to get out of here. Fast. So I did.
