The Devil Alpha And I のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 151 - チャプター 160

Arthur’s POVThe room was dark except for the flickering light from the torches on the stone walls.Immediately I walked in, the sentinels stood up, bowing their heads in respect, Amelia rushed to me. “Bad news,” she revealed, her face etched with worries. My brows furrowed in curiosity as she leaned closer. “Jennifer took some elders with her.”My jaws fell open. “Those ungrateful assholes,” I cussed, my face flickering to rage. “I should have just killed them immediately.”Charles stood up, walking closer to me, he leaned closer, his voice dropping. “Arthur, none of these people know that you have lost your wolf,” he paused as our eyes locked. “You are their last hope, don't screw this up.”“I still stand by my decision that I don't want my wolf back and I want to step down from the throne and lead a normal life with Ava but I have a feeling that Jennifer wouldn't let that happen.”He nods in agreement. “We go down protecting our home, brother.”“We go down together,” I nodded in ag

Arthur’s POVI walked into my room, my head full of thoughts from the meeting. Ava was cradling the little boy in her hands, she quickly rushed to me. “I can never get used to knowing that you have lost your wolf,” she said, forcing a smile as she handed me the child. I chuckled. “At least I can hold my child now.”She nods her head quietly, her face flickering to a mixture of confusion and curiosity. “So what did they talk about in the meeting? Did you tell them?”“Tell me what? That I'm leaving?” I asked, rocking my son in my arms, admiring his tiny face. He reminded me of my grandfather. She swallowed hard. “Both, did you tell them that you are leaving?”I raised my eyes, locking eyes with her. “I didn't tell them…yet.”“Oh,” she muttered, looking disappointed. “Ava, I'm doing this for both of us,” I defended. She shook her head, turning back. "We're not leaving," she said firmly, turning back to me. “We can't.”I let out a slow breath, placing the child on the bed. "Ava—""N

Ava’s POVThe wooden door creaked open as I walked in, Elena sat near the fire, staring at the fire, clearly lost in thoughts. I took a deep breath and walked inside, I hadn’t seen her since she tried to kill me. Elena looked up when she heard me enter, her blue eyes filled with a mixture of shock and guilt. “Hi,” I smiled, stepping closer to her. “It's been long.”She smiled. “Almost four months.”I chuckled, nodding my head in agreement, my eyes scanning through the room. This was becoming awkward already. “So I heard you were the one taking care of Arthur when he was in coma, thank you very much.”“It was my fault anyway, so you don't need to be grateful,” she forced a smile, her voice laced with sadness. “So can I help you?”“We haven’t talked since…” I paused, unsure how to finish my sentence. “Since that night.”Elena sighed and turned away. “Ava… I was wrong.”“No,” I shook my head. “I really don't resent you for that.”“You have alright to,” she said calmly. “I would be ma

Ava’s POV“What do you mean?” I frowned. “My son's birth was a mistake, there can't be a second devil Alpha but I brought one into the world, we can't afford a third,”She shrugged. “I have a theory that Arthur dismissed before he died or went into coma, however you call it, that your son is to bring a change to the system.”“I know that,” I frowned. “But what does that have to do with this situation on ground?”She scoffed with a shrug. “Arthur is one strong will bitch, he fought his way back, the moon goddess can't help us anymore Ava.”“What do you mean she can't help us?* I snapped. “This is totally her fault.”“Have you heard about cleansing?” She asked.I rolled my eyes, getting frustrated. “The moon goddess original goal is to cleanse this family, that's why she brought the second devil Alpha, and made the first devil Alpha protect him, but Arthur wouldn't just leave, so I guess she found a way to make sure he isn't the devil Alpha.”“By giving it to someone else?” I growled.“

Ava’s POVI banged my fists on the table, glaring at my aunt. “Let me out,” I snapped. She ignored me like I was nothing. Who was this woman really? There is no way she is my aunt. “You don’t understand, Arthur needs me, you have to let me go,” I pleaded. My aunt stood near the fire, stirring something in a pot, she barely glanced at me. “No, child,” she said calmly. “Arthur made his choice, you must stay here.”I scoffed, tears glistening in my eyes. “Just let me go, I need to protect Arthur, it's my duty to protect him.”She lets out a frustrated sigh, turning to me. “Stop acting like a god, Ava, you are just an impure wolf, you should be lucky that you are even alive.”“Arthur needs me,” I insisted. “Would you take responsibility if anything happens to him, he needs me.”“He needs punishment,” she interrupted. I froze at her words. “You still see him as the man you love, don’t you? But you refuse to see who he was.”I shook my head, my voice cracking. “I know what you mean but
