Lahat ng Kabanata ng My Human Mate: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Blake's POV The next morning, I got up early and got ready to leave with Kyle and his mate. Time was not on our side. We had to leave before anyone woke up or else we would be in trouble. Once I was done with everything, I walked out of my room and went down to Kyles's room. I lightly knocked on his door. I heard footsteps approaching and the door was opened. Kyle appeared in front of me. " Are you ready? It's time to go." He nods his head. " Yes. I'll bring her down right now. You can start the car." " Alright. Be careful and don't get caught." I was about to walk away when Kyle grabbed my arm. I looked at him. " Thank you. I'm grateful that you didn't condemn my mate for her past. I owe you one," he said looking emotional. " There is no need to thank me. She is your mate and I am sure the Moon Goddess has her reasons for bringing you two together. Who am I to question or go against that? Besides that, you are my brother. If you accepted her and you are happy with her, there is no

Blake's POVWe arrived at the vacation house. I parked the car and we went inside. The place was just as I remember it. It has been a while since I came down here with the family. Times were much more fun when we were children. As we grew up, we all kind of wanted our space and didn't prefer a family outing. " We are here guys," I announced once were inside. The house was like a huge cabin in the woods. I walked around the house to check if there was anything out of place or if anyone hiding somewhere inside. I went up the stairs to check out the rooms. After going through six rooms in total I verified that it was all clear and safe to occupy." Alright. I checked things out and everything is okay." I said. Morgan was sitting in the living room. " Kyle. I trust you know your way around so I think I will leave you two to it. This is as far as I can go." " Thanks Alpha. I am sorry for putting you through the trouble." " It's nothing serious. I am glad that I could help," I said to him.

Blake's POVI was feeling ecstatic that I got a chance to spend time with Brielle and her family. Her folks were nice people, her grandmother especially. She looked like she was really interested in my relationship with Brielle. Although we couldn't define it right now, all we could say was we are ' just friends '. We had dinner and her grandmother kept asking me questions about myself and my family.I told her all there was to know without telling her that I was the Alpha of the land. She would probably think I am crazy anyway. There was no need to mention that part for now." Thank you for the food. It was really delicious," I sat putting down the cutlery and wiping my mouth with the cloth." I am glad you liked it dear." She smiled looking happy. Arielle blushed as she kept stealing glances at me.We all finished having dinner and Brielle and her grandmother got up to clear the table but I stopped them." Grandmother, can I please help Brielle with the dishes? Please allow me to. I

Blake's POVI woke up in the morning alone on the couch. I had a blanket covering me. My father must have carried my mother to bed. I got up and yawned. I stretched my body and I felt really stiff. Sleeping on the couch was not such a good idea with my large frame. My body was aching all over. I got up and went to my room.I checked the time and I had no time to waste. I was going to school today because I wanted to spend time with Brielle. It's been a while since I went to school. I quickly stripped my clothes and went to shower. In record time I was out and getting dressed. I put on some cologne that smelled irresistible and I checked myself out in the mirror. I combed my hair with my fingers and let it dry on its own.Walking out of my room, I ran down the stairs and headed for the door until I heard my mother call out to me." Hold it right there young man!" I stopped in my tracks. I slowly turned to my mother and gave her a sheepish smile." Where are you running off to? You didn

Brielle's POVYou should have seen Blake's face. He looked like a little girl on the verge of crying. I could see his eyes turn glossy, his hands slightly tremble and I could almost hear his heartbeat. It was the first time I had seen him look so emotional. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. It was a prize-worthy moment.I laughed so hard I felt like my head would burst. It is rightfully said, that laughter is the best medicine. That was a good laugh and I really needed it. Once I calmed down I felt lighter. It was like a heavy burden was lifted off my shoulder. I turned to look at Blake whose face was red with embarrassment. I suddenly felt bad for laughing at him but I just couldn't hold myself back. I put my hand on his hand and he looked at me.I felt so bad for making him feel unwanted. That was not at all my intention. I wouldn't dream of ever breaking his heart like that. He was so scared. I could see it in his eyes." I wasn't thinking of rejecting you. I could never drea
