บททั้งหมดของ My Ex Mate's Stepbrother Is My Second Chance Mate : บทที่ 21 - บทที่ 30

Alex could clearly see the shock and fear written on Amelia's face as he made mention of taking her to his pack. For someone who grew up in the human world, she was supposed to be excited and eager to go to a werewolf pack, but from the view of things, it was clear that she wasn't interested, and from the way she refused without even giving it a thought, he could already tell that she wasn't just uninterested, but she was afraid of something."Amelia, what's wrong? Don't you want to follow me to my pack?" Alex asked her with a furrowed brow as he took a step backward to take a proper look at her face."No, Alex, it's not that I don't want to follow you to your pack; I would really love to, but I don't think that this is the right time, and mind you that I just graduated. Right now, the only thing I want to do is concentrate on doing what I have spent almost five years learning how to do, which is curing people," Amelia said to Alex, who was staring at her with a doubtful glare."Are y

It was five pm in the evening. Alex had finished his daily activity at the hospital and was about to start heading back home.Getting into his car, he was about to ignite it on when his phone suddenly started ringing. Groaning in frustration, he took his briefcase and brought out his phone to check who was calling.Seeing that it was Jake, he ignited his car and connected the phone to the car's Bluetooth before picking up the call."Hi Jake, How are you doing?" Alex asked after picking up the call."I'm good, Your Highness. What about you?" Jake asked Alex."I'm good. Any good news?" Alex asked him while driving out of the hospital."Well, there's a news, but I won't call it good news," Jake said to Alex through the phone."Well, if the news isn't good, then it's bad. Go on, I'm all ears," Alex said to him with his attention still fixed on the road as he was driving the car."Well, his Highness is insisting that I track down his former Luna, and he's even threatening to find someone

After dropping off Erica at her house, I couldn't help but think about what she told me as I was driving back home.Even without her telling me, I have already known that sooner or later Alex was going to find out that I was formerly his stepbrother's mate, and just as Erica said, he is going to be angry when he finds out, which I also know, but before he finds out, I would have already informed him about it, but that still doesn't mean that I'm going to accept to follow him to his pack. Who knows what Adrian will do to me when he sets his eyes on me?As these thoughts were running through my mind, I spotted a car parked in front of my house as I was getting closer, and leaning on the car was someone who looked like Alex.At first I didn't want to believe that it was him since I couldn't see his face, and also the car was different from the one I always saw him driving, but when I got closer and the person leaning on the car turned around, that was when it became clear to me that it w

*Amelia* I still can't believe that after all these years spent in the human world, I'm returning to Wolfenwood Pack, the same pack I had run away from five years ago.I know that I had promised myself never to return to Wolfenwood Pack again, but with Alex constantly pressuring me, I have no other choice but to accept to go back with him, and happily he had agreed with me that we will be back to the human world once the mating ceremony is over, so I won't have to worry about putting up with Adrian and Mara for a very long time.Concerning Adrian, I still don't know what he's going to do to me when he finally sees me, but one thing I'm sure about is that Alex isn't going to stand back and watch his brother hurt me, and also he had promised me that he was going to protect me and make sure nothing happens to me. For now, my main prayer is that he doesn't go back on his promise, especially after discovering my past relationship with his brother."Come on, Amelia, you worry a lot. Alex

*Amelia* As I got into the palace with Alex memories of all the time I had spent in this palace came back playing in my head.Looking around, I could clearly see the surprised look written all over the faces of the maids who were around, especially the old ones. Among them were the ones who had the habit of spreading bad rumors about me and also gossiping about me back then when I was the Luna, and despite being aware of it, I never informed Adrian about it or tried to punish them because of it, and the reason why I did that was to avoid being tagged as the bad Luna who takes advantage of her power as the Luna to punish those under her. Despite that, I was still tagged as the bad Luna throughout the whole pack, and when Adrian accused me of stabbing Mara, it gave them the opportunity to make fun of me more as they saw that Adrian was no longer on my side.Even though I'm not going to stay long in this Pack before returning to the human world, I'm going to make sure that with the li
