I wake up to the early morning sun as I roll onto my side to make it the bathroom quickly. Normally, I’d admire the beautiful rays dancing on the stone windowsill but one of the boys was bouncing on my bladder. I wait for her to leave before inspecting the tray to find avocado toast, bacon and a boiled egg. “At least the food here is edible.” I scoff as I bring the tray to my bed.“I’m sure you’ll find the food in prison just as delectable.” She smirks as I take a bite of my toast.“You really don’t ever shut up. I’m just entering the office and still on cloud nine after my date with Jasmine last night when I’m given a frantic call from the psychiatric facility. “Hello, this is Chief Commissioner Mason.” “We need help! I sit in silence, cuffed to my bed with stinging pain. My finger had been cut off and my face sliced by Leo’s girlfriend. It was pathetic of me to have let my guard down.
