Hoping, praying and patiently waiting for a doctor or a nurse to step out and tell me everything was going to be alright soon, or else I knew I would lose my mind the more the second ticked by. It’s been almost two fucking hours and none of them had stepped out to tell me what was going on inside. My fingers tapped slowly. Inhale. Exhale. Breathe in.
