Bella's POV I dashed into the hospital, and the usual beeping sounds of the machines filled the air. The annoying smell of the herbs and antidotes clouded the atmosphere and the busy chatter in the hospital scattered my thoughts. I put on my gown in the dressing room and rushed to meet Ellis. He must be cross by now. "Bella, why are you late?" He groaned. "I sent Chloe early enough to get you and you still defied me and came late?" He queried. "I... I... I'm sorry." I stuttered. "Please sir, it was not my intention," I begged, my head bowed in remorse. "Do you know that the Alpha just left here a few minutes ago and he asked me if all the Omegas were here before he left? Do you know if he saw you when you rushed in here? Do you know what that would mean for both of us?" He scolded, his voice like thunder and his eyes burning with rage. "I'm sorry sir. I promise it won't happen again." "Get the fuck out of my sight and get to work." He screamed, the echoes of his voice ri

Bella's POV "Hmm." I winced. I froze, goosebumps covered my skin. My heart stopped for some seconds and my ear stood. "Someone's there." Immediately, I hid myself more. They knew I was there. I just prayed they just forgot about me and went away. They must be rogues, and maybe they must have had an issue with Luka, and now they're planning to eliminate him. I need to warn him. But how am I gonna do that? I'm also on the run, and his life is in danger, too. How do I do this shit? I waited for them to come out from their hiding place, they scanned around for me, their eyes shining like bright lights as they scattered the whole place in search of me. Lucky for me, they did not find me. "Maybe it was just a rat." "It had better be." They left with a huff and headed away to the main road leading to Luka's house. They must be headed there right now. Fuck!!!!! I need to warn him. Damn it. Well, I'll take the risk. It's worth it. I'll warn him, and maybe he could hide me

Bella's POV A smile played across his father's face and the loud murmuring of the people was disturbing. I knew it. It is finished. I'm as good as nothing, so my death won't be noticeable, even to people around me. I knelt down there, watching the whole crowd, everybody, some pitying me, some jeering and the others just neutral. Everything was like a flash to my eyes. I saw myself being beheaded. My head was chopped off from my body and rolled away like a ball. My body weakened and I was pale, just waiting for the very moment. I saw my blood spilled away like wine and the dogs leaking it like vine. The wind blows my remains to all directions of the earth, and my wandering soul vanishes to ashes. Oh death! Why me!? All I've ever wanted was to be a great woman. An Alpha, a Luna. I want care and affection. I deserve it. I want life, a good one. Not this piece of my shitty life I live every day. I'm fucking tired of doing this over and over again. But I don't want to die. It's s

Bella's POV "All right. We're listening, child. Speak." You know, telling them to stop was foolish of me. Now I don't remember what popped into my head that I wanted to tell them. "I said speak child." Time was running out and I still couldn't think of what to say. One of them sent his foot hard to my abdomen, destroying my bones, and my injured flesh squelched in pain, and I went down to the ground. They were coming again and I saw terror in their eyes. One that meant death. I've had enough of this. I've seen death more than enough in just a very short while. It's time to chase it. I ain't gonna die here. Whatever comes into my head is what I'm gonna say. "It seems like you're playing around, right?" "No... I mean, I wasn't." I stammered and was shivering like a little bird under cold. "I'm sorry for screaming and disturbing you guys. I never knew you all were here as the dungeon was very dark when I was thrown in. I'm deeply sorry." I apologized. They looked at me

Bella's POV You know I could not walk. Those animals had damaged my legs and I really needed a hospital. This was too much for me to bear. All my prayers to the moon goddess were just in vain. As simple as it is, just end me. Make it painless and snappy, that's all I ask for. But however, she refused. This left him no choice but to drag me on the floor. "Please, hope I've not done anything wrong?" I cried. I don't know if he may have noticed anything that happened in the dungeon a few minutes ago. Or who knows, maybe it's time for my execution. He did not reply to me, but I pressed on. "Hey, please talk to me. Are you going to kill me now?" I screamed, my injured throat hurting the most. "Just shut the fuck up before I give what you rightfully deserve bitch." He snapped. "You have a fucking visitor." He groaned. "Um…" "Shut your mouth!" I remained silent before he descended on me. I wonder who would come to visit a wretch like me. Whoever it is, just pray it should b
