Luciano. I barely glanced at her as she walked out of the dining room; she was angry, and it was a delight to see. She shouldn’t think that whatever privilege she had at her father’s house would be granted here. This is my house, and I make my own rules. She doesn’t get to work, and that’s final. I sat back down in my chair and continued eating my breakfast. I wasn’t like her, who could afford to waste food. After I finished, I stood up and went to my room. Just as I walked into my walk-in closet, my phone started ringing. “Yes?” I answered without looking at the caller ID. Only a few people knew this number, so I could easily guess who it was. “I’ve done as you asked, boss,” Kyle’s voice boomed from the speaker. “And?” I walked over to the mirror to check myself out. “And he’s ready to meet you.” I snorted.
