Madiaah * * My brother was still groaning in pain from last night's shootout. I just sat there staring at him. This is the life we're forced to live in, running, hiding, and struggling to stay alive. My father opened the door and walked in; I suddenly felt irritated that his entire existence had been irritating me. We're in all of this because of him. "How's he doing?", he asked. CHAPTER 2- A BRIDE FOR CLYDE'S

MAADIAH**Tommy was getting better, at least he was strong enough for us to leave by noon today. I didn't tell them what happened last night, I was still trying to process everything and wrap my head around what happened. I was about to be killed by Riccardo's men. Who was that man? How did he stop them from killing me? Why did they obey him? And how does he know my name? He said he knew everything about me, so he must know about my father, and he'll also know that we're on the run. "I'm gonna miss this place; this has to be the longest we've stayed safe," Tommy said. CHAPTER 3- MEETING THE CLYDE'S

MAADIAH**Well, this is not how I expected this meeting to happen. "Valerie, please can you take our guests upstairs and serve them something to eat while we handle things here", the supposed mother said. "Please, come with me", the maid said and led us upstairs. I turned around again and looked at the man who saved me the other time. We held the stare for a few seconds then he broke it. The stairs were made of marble; it was like those actual olden-days royal stairs. I've heard of the Clyde's family, but I never knew it was actually like this. CHAPTER 4- BE A SLAVE OR A SURVIVOR

Tommy's leg got a lot better because he was able to get proper medication and my dad was given all the money he needed to clear off the debt.
