Dante's POV. Being the capo of the biggest mafia in New york had it's ugly side which i tried to run away from, but fate can only be delayed not denied. Being cold without an ounce of emotion was something every capo of a mafia gang must possess cause it can be a window for weaknesses to be shown. That's why i don't show emotions, hell why i can't afford to be in a relationship. I don't need a woman right now that would be weak and fragile, they are just good distractions nothing more. Looking down at the lifeless body i just unalived, i could only think about how death was the only way out for traitors like him who ratted us out to the rival gang. The mafia was big on family however, there was no mercy for traitors in the family. I threw the dagger i'd used alongside my shirt that was stained with blood into the trash bin as i make my way to my office in the warehouse. My cartel had the biggest shipmemt for armmos and. i had clubs, casino and hotels around italy, the united st

With one last stride i headed straight towards the surgical unit, taking off my wrist watch and putting on my surgical cap. On getting there i met Bryan in the scrubbing room, apparently he is also going to be part of the team that would be performing the surgery. For a doctor, bryan was a talkative and he just riles me up anytime i see him“Olivia!” He called, staring at me as i made my way to the scrubbing area. “i didn't know you were going to be part of the team performing the surgery” He said scrubbing his hands. “I myself didn't know” I said trying to ignore hi
