Chapter Hundred and Thirty-One

Janet's POV " Mark was among those that came here to kill me,he said he never gave up the desire to kill me" I said. " I saw his body, he was dead," Berrent said. " I am happy about that, he wanted to kill me but you know I do know the rules, and it is to kill first, else, you get killed" I said. The maids brought the food to us and we had to eat. " You said you wanted to talk to me?" I asked him. " Yes, I wanted to speak to you about something and it is something that we have spoken about before and I think it is time for it," he said. As soon as he said that, I knew what was coming for me, I knew what he was talking about. " I know this is about the oil yard," I said. " I did not help you out for nothing, I did all I did because I wanted to have it and you know how much I have wished for it all my life" he said. I knew he was coming for this soon. I stood up after I had finished eating and went into my room. There were things that I wanted for myself as well. A lot of thin

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Two

Janet's POV I sat close to him, he wouldn't say a word to me and I was scared that he was angry with me. There was so much I needed to say to him. I looked around the room, my eyes were searching the place for the picture but I found nothing. I was so happy that I saw nothing but my happiness did not last because I knew that he must have hidden it somewhere and he was trying to keep it away from me. This conversation was something that he had always had a problem with but I was going to confront him and talk about it. " Why can't you stay where you are? It is big and very beautiful. Probably more finer than this place" he said. " I know that, but I do not want to stay there alone, I want to stay with you" I blinked my eyes at him. " You want to stay with me? This is my Pack, Janet and you can not stay here with me. You need to be in your Pack, while I am in my Pack" he said. Maybe he does not see me the way I see him. I wanted him all to myself but he was acting so cold towards

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Three

Janet's POV They could not hold me back from doing what I was doing. They tried but ended up getting burnt. When I was satisfied, I stopped and had to go to my room. I laid on the bed and closed my eyes, I was tired and confused as well. All I wanted was for Berrent to tell me that he wants me and I should be his Luna, that was all I ever wanted. I looked at my hands and what I had done to Kevin, I did not mind, it was none of my business. " You should sleep, it is going to help you relax," Lisa said. I did not want to sleep but it seemed that was what I was going to do right now, the more I thought of Berrent, the more danger I was going to cause and I did not want to cause any more ruin at all. I laid my head on the bed and fell asleep. I do not know how long I slept but I woke up to everything being dark, then seconds later, the lights were turned on. It was dark already. I heard my stomach grumbling and I was hungry. I left my room and walked downstairs. " You look tired,

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Four

Janet's POV When he said he was coming for me, I did not understand what he meant by that, I thought he was trying to fight with me but he did not come with the warriors for a fight. It was something away from that. I have not had a good time being the leader of the Pack as a lot of things were already happening. Children were getting missing and even some adults as well. He wanted me to look incompetent. I knew where this was coming from. I had already asked Berrent to be in my Pack constantly so we can figure out what to do about this. " What do you think? This is getting out of hand and I need to fix things. I can not handle this on my own. Things are getting spoilt and I have to do something about it" Berrent sat there listening to all that I was saying without blinking an eye, it felt like he was not part of what I was saying or he had no idea how to handle this. " Are you even listening to me?" " You look so beautiful today," he said. He was driving me crazy, this was n

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Five

Janet's POV We returned to the Pack after that. His head was not with me, Berrent said he wanted it so I let him have it to himself. The Pack was now mine and I now had two Pack, but it was just stupid because I never intended to have two Packs to myself. I want Berrent and he was not interested. " Do you want more packs?" Lisa asked me. " Never, I do not want that" I shook my head. " Maybe you should get things straight with Berrent, so you two can have the Pack to yourself" she said. She did not have to go ahead and mention his name. I was hurting and I needed to clear my head. My wolf seemed to be weak as well. " I want to be left alone, I do not want to see anyone or talk to anyone" I said." Why do you want that for yourself? This is not the time for that and you know it, it is not going to go well with everyone in this Pack" " I am trying to be fine, I am going to be fine, I just need some time alone, that is all I ever asked for" I went to my room and made the bed a

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Six

Janet's POV It got me upset that they were not scared of what I was going to do. They were not scared of what I had done to them, they were not also scared of what I was going to do to them. " I am going to do more things for you, you should get prepared for it," I said. Sara was not moved, she stayed adamant and not willing to get scared. " I want to speak with you," Berrent said, looking at Kevin. " What do you want to talk about? I have no business with you and I do not want to talk to you about anything" he said. " You have no choice, I am the one who can leave here, you are not allowed to leave, you are going to sit back there and listen to the things that I have to say. You have to hear me out no matter what" he said. " I do not want to hear what you want to say, but since I am here already, I am going to do that" " Okay then, we had a talk about the oil yard and I came to let you know that I now have the keys to it, I now have the keys to the oil yard and even the paper

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Seven

Janet's POV I was already scared, from the way she looked at me, I knew that something was wrong and there was nothing I could do about it. I was scared for myself. " Tell me what has happened, no matter what it is" I begged her. " Your parents are nowhere to be found. They have been searching for them. The guards that were asked to protect them are all dead" she said. My knees began to feel weak, my eyes were dull as well. I swallowed and held the door so I would not fall down. " What are you saying? What do you mean by that?" I asked her slowly. My voice was fading and I felt like I was drowning. " I went there to see them and I could not find them," she said. The guards are dead? What the hell was going on? Kevin said he was going to get my parents killed, it was just hours ago and now, I do not know who he is talking to and who is doing all the things that he wants. I was weak but I was sad too. I was hurt and angry, I lowered myself to the ground and just had to stay t

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Eight

Janet's POV " I'm sorry, I can not do this right now, I need to find my parents, my mind is messed up" I said. "I understand you but I want you to trust me, I know what is going on and I want you to believe it when I tell you that your parents are safe, they are only waiting for you to give up the Pack which you do not want to do, you want to fight for it" he said. I decided to believe him, besides, I will need his help to fight them. I was not going to fight them on my own. " I love your eyes," he said. " Did Lisa ask you to tell me that?" " Stop, don't be silly," he smiled. Then went ahead to kiss me passionately. He was soft and treated me like I was going to run away from him if he did not do it right. I loved his lips, it was soft and inviting. This was what I have been wanting for so long and he has never given to me. His hands found their way under my dress, I wanted more. He placed me on the table that was behind me and had his way in between my legs. I wrapped my ha

Chapter Hundred and Thirty-Nine

Chapter 139Janet's POV He grabbed me right from the door, I had texted him that I was on my way to his place. He pulled me in a hug at first, then brought me to his bedroom. " I thought we were to have a conversation first?" I said. I wanted this so much but there was something else I wanted to talk about before anything with Berrent. I know how he can switch from wanting this to not wanting to hear anything about it. I know how hard it can be trying to talk to him and to make him see reasons why he should let me have him to myself once again. He frowned, he did not want to but I did know that this conversation we are about to have was very important to me. " Are.you sure about what you are getting into? Are you sure it is what you want?" I asked him. " I am very sure about it. I did not want this in the first place, and now that I do want it, it is for real. You know that when I say I am certain about something, I am" he blinked his eyes at me. I was not satisfied with the a

Chapter Hundred and Forty

Janet's POV We arrived at the house and the guards were looking so confused. " What are you talking about? They were under your care, what the hell is going on?" I was so confused. " This happened last night, they left last night and this morning, I could not find them, the door was not locked as well, I do not know how they got out of the cage" he said. I was so pissed, he was meant to look after them and right now, it was like he had helped them escape. I slapped him. " You have to provide them, I do not care how you do it, you have to" I said Berrent held me back and helped me back to the house. I know I was going to cause more harm to them. " You have to calm down," he said. That was all he was going to say at first, he was always saying that in difficult situations like this. " I hope you do have a fix for this, I hope you can locate where they are" I said. He sighed. " I had no idea when they left but one of the guards helped him escape and it was not the one you sl
