Janet's POVI was not able to return back to my Pack and that was because of the pores that were on my skin, so I had to stay at Berrent's house. The girl that was brought into the house was not the kind of person that I would like. She does not look helpless. " What's the name?" " Lisa" she smiled at me. I could not bring myself to smile back because I hated she was there, I hated that she might be pretending because she looked so good to me. “Is anything the problem?" She asked me. " Nothing at all," I said. I was about to leave the kitchen when she called my name. That was new. " You know me?" I asked her. " Your name? Of course, I know your name. It's been the name on people's lips ever since you started talking to Alpha Berrent, and it got worse after your parents were taken away, the good thing is that they brought them back," she said. She was too loud to be someone helpless, was she not meant to be sober about her life? Why was she lively? " Is that it? So people ar

Janet's POVI felt a presence in the room even though my eyes were closed. I was tired and my body was hurting as well. " Is she okay?" I heard a voice, I knew who that was, it was Berrent. My head began to hurt as I tried to remember where I was and how I was hearing Berrent's voice. I remembered where I was. Kevin had asked the maid to get a towel to clean my body, but why was Berrent's voice being heard? " She is fine," he said to him. " Get her some food when she wakes up; I'll be back," and then he left. I could feel someone's presence in the room. Maybe it was the guard. I tried to stand but I was weak. " You should rest; do not worry about getting up right now," he said. I was so confused; what was I doing here, and what had happened to me? When I opened my eyes and saw where I was, I knew something had happened to me. I was in Berrent's guest room. " Are you hungry? I can go get you something to eat" the guard said. I was hungry, but I wanted to know what went wron

Janet's POVOne would think that life returned back to normal for me but was it ever normal for me? The pores on my body had all gone out and I was left with the skin I was used to. I got back home and met my mother by the door. " I know I have a lot of explanations to do" She looked at me and did not hide her disappointment that she had in me. " Can I get into the house?" I asked her. " I do not like that all the bad things that are happening revolve around you; why are you taking this road?" She asked. I went to her and held her shoulders. " I am doing this for myself, I hope that one day, you will understand me and not get worried about me. I am doing this for us as well" " It does not make any sense, and for Kevin, I do not want to see him around you; he is not good for you," she said. Of course, I know that, but I need to get this together. I want to come back to be good. He thinks I am going to be soft and then take what was meant for him? The pain that was meant for hi

Janet's POVI was on the floor because I was too weak. What I heard was something that made me weak and I had to lower myself to the floor. I wished I had known this at that time, I would not have been so foolish to take the strokes of thunder for him. Why was I this gullible? I stood up and left. There was nothing I could do about it, and I did not want them to know that I was there. I got back home, looking weak and tired. A lot was going on in my head, and all I wanted to do was to get water on my head and then lay it on the bed, close my eyes, and drift off to sleep. But I guess my father had another plan for me. When I got to the house, I saw people in there; I did not want to talk to anyone or greet anyone, so I made my way through the back door and got into the house. " What is going on? And why are those people here?" I asked her. She was all smiles, and I knew when she was getting that way, I knew that it was something I would hate. " Your father has agreed that the s

Janet's POVHe fell beside me on the bed, panting. His eyes were all smiles. " You enjoyed it right?" I asked him. " I did, you can see that" he smiled at me as he held my face in his hands. I lay beside him and rested my head on his chest. " I should stay here forever"" You do not want to miss all of these experiences that I am giving you, and you should know that we will get to enjoy this to the fullest." he brought me closer to himself. I stayed there for a long time before I stood up and went to shower. I got out of the bathroom and went to wear my clothes. " Are you not being too fast? Where are you going?" " I have to go home, it is getting dark already and I do not want my mother calling my phone" " I think it is time for your parents to know and accept that you are now with me; we can not keep doing this; you have to let them know that we are together," he said. I knew what he was looking for and I was never going to agree to it." With time, they will get to know ab
