Enyo BurnsideAnd here we are again, I think as I stand chained to this fucking disgusting wall again, down in this hell hole. I spend more time here than in the barracks. Dylan was pissed last night, he hates not having any say over me. He thinks I don't know what he thinks of me or does when he thinks i'm sleeping down here, or the bulge in his pants every time he brings that whip down on me.The guy is a fucking welt, perverted fucker. A bitter laugh leaves ma as the pack doctor opens the cell door looking almost ashamed of himself as he removes the syringe from his white lab coat. So he should be, he was my fathers friend, he was the one who birthed me, fucking traitor.“Enyo, please..” He looks back through the door, then back at me “You need to behave, Enyo. I don't know how much your body and wolf can take, she will turn feral and you will be lost…” I don’t let him finish. I spit in his face.“You were meant to be my fathers friend” I growl at him, he steps back and wipes his fa

Enyo BurnsideI feel almost content as a warm breeze blows around me, the grass under my feet feels soft. The moon is high in the clear night sky, the forest is quiet as I walk along the edge of the stream. It’s strange, this place feels so familiar even though I am sure I have never been here before. There is a lullaby drifting on the breeze, I can’t make out the words but the tune sounds like the one my mother would sing to me as a child. I stop walking as I spot a woman on her knees up ahead. She doesn’t even flinch or stop singing as I get closer. Two huge wolves step out the treeline, and I pause, but not out of fear but as they look remarkably like my wolf. They don't do anything except watch me with their big curious eyes as I approach. Suddenly the singing stops.“Hello, Enyo” My head snaps to the woman. That's when I took her in for the first time, her hair is the same chestnut as my own. Her eyes are different, almost like a sparkly jewel. It’s hard to describe but she doesn

Enyo BurnsideHe watches me, I can’t read him, he probably thinks i'm crazy. I wouldn’t even blame him. I am leaning towards that explanation myself if i'm honest. He scratches his chin, like he is thinking.“For some reason it rings a bell, little wolf, but I honestly can’t think why” He says. I feel hope leaving me. He leans in and tips my chin up so I am looking at him. “That doesn't mean we can’t look into it. We have an old couple of she-wolf sisters that have some scrolls from the old times. They are basically our elders, one of them the younger one she is said to have the sight” His gold eyes hold so much emotion as he stares into my green eyes I need to look away, it’s been far too long since I felt anything.“Okay, do you think they will help me?” I ask, the smile that crosses his face lights up even his eyes.“I am sure they will do anything their Luna requires” I frown at this, the hurt quickly flashes in his eyes as I want to kick myself. Here this man is doing everything

Enyo BurnsideThe minute I shift I allow my wolf to take over as I feel myself drowning and I can’t seem to get my head around the words that appeared on the pages of the book or the feeling of familiarity that came the moment she opened the pages of that dusty old book. What is the truth? Is my whole life a lie? I don’t know but what I do know is I am glad Clayton didn’t follow me, I need to digest the information, and who did the old she-wolf mean by she visited me; My head is spinning with everything, I don't even realise where I am until the heavy scent of mums lillies hits me.My wolf took me to my family home, the same house I shared with my parents. I haven’t been back in this house since I returned the day I found out my parents were killed. My wolf makes its way round the back, she stops in front of the patio doors before shifting back. I reached under the bright yellow plant pot that my mother always kept the spare key under.I feel my heart race at the thought of going insi

Clayton BlackridgeTrent is still laughing when we reach his and Fran’s cabin, I can’t help but shake my head at him with a smirk on my face. Fran is in the kitchen part of the cabin when we arrive and the smell of home baking makes my stomach grumble, making Fran chuckle as she comes out of the kitchen.“Wow, Fran, you get bigger every day. Are you sure there is only one pup in there?” I ask as she rubs her swollen tummy, a slight blush coates her cheeks. “No, just one, but I think he will be tall like his daddy” She says as she looks at her mate lovingly. Trent just looks like a big soppy puppy dog looking at his mate, and this is what I want. I want Enyo, why didn’t I go after her; Fuck, I should have gone after her is all I keep thinking but the words of Ivy keep playing over and over.Fran places a hand on my arm, drawing my attention to her “would you like one?” Fran asks as she holds up a plate with some homemade pastries on it, they smell divine and my mouth waters just lookin
