Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mafia's Rebellious Bride: His Forbidden Obsession : Kabanata 121 - Kabanata 130

"Daddy" We froze to our places when we heard a sharp, piercing voice of a kid coming from behind. My heart suddenly stopped beating when the kid again cried, and this time louder with the same intensity, "Daddy!" Before we could react, the little kid wrapped his tiny arms around Nikolai's legs and hugged him tightly, hiding his face in his pants. It was a little boy who looked no older than three. Nikolai suddenly became stiff, I felt him inhaling a deep breath when the little boy hugged him from behind. He didn't move as he didn't want to hurt the little boy clutching him so fiercely.“Daddy, you came,” he whispered in a small, trembling voice. His baby tone was soft but filled with certainty.I felt my knees weaken. My lips parted, but no words came out as I was equally surprised and didn't know what to do. The Matron, who was watching all this with fascination, finally broke her silence. "Leo," she called the baby boy softly, catching his attention. "Come to me, baby." He sh

Nikolai's POVIt's been ten days since we left the orphanage, yet I could still feel the tiny arms that had wrapped around my legs.Leo.His name stirred something deep inside me. It felt as if the name was very close to me, though I was meeting the little boy for the very first time. When he hugged me from behind, I couldn't understand how to react. I wasn’t built for gentle hands or innocent affection. His touch was very different, very delicate, warm, and welcoming. And when he kissed my cheek, I stiffened not because I didn’t like it, but because I did. I have always been so rude and cold towards the world that kids always used to get scared of me. It was for the first time that a kid kissed me. It provided warmth to my heart, which I didn't know I needed. As I entered the room, I found Alessia sitting on the edge of the bed with her head leaning against the headboard, lost in her thoughts again. I didn’t have to ask what was going on in her head. I knew it already. Not only d

The world seems to slow down when the stone moves toward me at a very high speed. My heartbeat roared in my chest as the voice of protestors became louder. My mind blanked out, I didn't have time to move away. As an instinct, one hand moved up to my face as I tried to cover it with my palms, and the other moved down to my belly to protect my baby because I knew it was still going to hit me. There was nothing much I could do in a few seconds. My eyes were tightly squeezed as I braced myself for the hit but it didn't touch me. I heard a soft wince which made me move my hand down and open my eyes. In front of me was standing my savior, like a shield. Nikolai. He was holding the stone with a force that made the veins in his forearm bulge. He threw it away with fury so much fury that it shattered on the pavement. His eyes were red and wild, burning with pure anger. The crowd gasped, and suddenly, silence spread among them. Nikolai may no longer be the Mafia king but people are still

I gasped when the sound of a body hitting the marble floor echoed in the hall. Marco was on the ground, gasping as Nikolai slammed him down with a force that shook the floor.A few of those who were sitting on the chair immediately stood up, scraping the chair. People gasped and voices shouted in alarm, but no one dared intervene.Leo clung to me instinctively as Nikolai pushed him into my arms. His tiny fingers grasped my shirt tightly. He looked up at me with wide, confused eyes, and I held him close, to my heart. He is my son. My Leo. My baby. My attention shifted when I heard a loud cry from Marco. Nikolai has hit him right in his mouth, and he used to say bullshit about us. Before Marco could even grasp what was happening his jaw met with another powerful blow. Nikolai didn’t care who was watching or judging him. He was past all the thoughts. He has been holding himself from killing Marco long enough, but today, he crossed all the limits. To get into power, he tortured a litt

Alessia's POV I was standing in the middle of a vast field that looked familiar yet foreign. Everything was quiet around me. The sky above me was grey as if it was also mourning. A breeze rustled the grass at my feet, but there was no sound, no birds, no voices, not even the beat of my own heart. “No...” I whispered, stumbling forward. “No, no, please…”“Leo?” I called out desperately, spinning around in every direction “Baby, where are you? Leo!”There was no answer—only silence.I looked down and realized I was wearing white, the hem of my dress soaked in something dark. My hands trembled as I raised them to my stomach. It was flat.Empty.Not even the slightest mound was there. And then my eyes caught the sight of two small cribs, standing far off in the distance. II ran towards them with the hope that I would find my babies inside, but my heart broke when they, too, were empty. My lungs burned with each breath I took, my throat was sore from screaming."My babies! Please!”A s
