HAZEL’S POVMy eyes fluttered open, and they were met with an unfamiliar ceiling. The smell of antiseptic hit my nose, and I tried to figure out where on earth I was. There was a reoccurring sound in a background, a little beeping that resounded every second.My eyes scanned the area in front of me, and there was nothing, just a white wall and some white tiles. My eyes travelled further down to my body and I saw that I was laying on a bed, my lower body draped in a white cloth.I snapped my head to the side, and found the source of the beeping noises. It was a small machine, that had numbers in it, and a line that moved according to the beeping. Just at the corner of my eyes, I noticed a bag, and looked up at it.It was transparent, and had a liquid it in. That was when I both the needle, infused on my hand, and it has a pipe that was connected to the bag. My body ran cold. KILLIAN’S POVI watched, intently as Hazel took a sip of the soup. Her face twisted into a scowl and her lips pursed together. I smirked to myself and watched as she took another spoon. From the way she closed her yes shut, I could tell she was holding herself back from throwing up all over the bed.I had expected Hazel to start whining and complaining about how the soup tasted, but to my surprise, she just sat there quietly, and kept eating the soup. The more I watched her, the more I couldn’t take my eyes of her.I watched how her hair dipped to the side, and she tried to take a sip from the spoon. KILLIAN’S POVI walked down the stairs, Orion by my side, as well as a timid looking doctor. Darkness had enveloped us, as we ventured further down into the underground cave. As we good deeper, we began to hear wails and cries of wolves, that almost seemed inhumane.Those were the cries of prisoners begging to be released.We went further down, and a long row came into view. My each side of the thin corridor, were cell doors, and each of them had prisoners in them. I walked down from the stairs and began to venture down the corridor.Prisoners from each end of the corridor threw their hands out from the tiny spaces in the cell and began to claw at the air, desperate to grab either of us. The doctor flinched as one of them managed to reach him.They grabbed on to his clothes and he began to flail around in an attempt to get them off him, but these prisoners were relentless. HAZEL’S POVI placed the bowl, that was once filled with food, down on the tray that was set on the table beside the bed. I looked at the empty bowl, a crushing feeling in my chest. Killian had brought me food again, just like he always did, but he did not look at me, nor talk to me.The way he treated me the previous day was still etched in my mind, and I was honestly expecting an apology from him.
