Lahat ng Kabanata ng I AM BETRAYED BY THE MOON: Kabanata 181 - Kabanata 190

Elara's POV Five days since we've come to Zanzibar for the vacation and it has been bliss all round. The blacks are really accommodating and the hotel made sure to deliver topnotch and quality service. As a wolf, I don't really eat much but the few times I did, the food was properly made from fresh and natural Ingredients and it tasted really nice. The times I was here, It felt like I truly belonged here. The Cadman pack felt like it's been caging all this time. Here it is so relaxing, beautiful and warm. It was the kind of place where one would be able to breathe and dream. And it was truly sad that I'd be leaving in the next two days. I will get back to the pack life and drama.Caleb and I have really gotten closer. We swam together, climbed the mountains, go to the amusement park, watched the sunrise and sunset and even went to the local market And today, we are seeing a movie at the cinema and then going for dinner at a five star restaurant. I turned towards Clara who was lying

Damian's POVBut when she comes back, I hope to talk to her about us. I would ask her if there was anything I could do for her, apart from vacating the throne of course. I would free her. I would cancel the contract and ask for a divorce. She deserves to be happy and since I can't do that for her, it would be better to let her go.A sharp knock came on the door, pulling me out of my thoughts. Then the door creaked open and Lyra stepped into the study. She walked towards me, her stomach protrude forward. The baby has been growing well though she's still wary of Elara's threats. If there was anyone I trusted more than myself, that would be Elara. I knew Elara wouldn't do it: she wasn't that heartless. And somehow, Lyra's wariness made me believe that she must have been responsible for killing Elara's baby. I was so enraged with myself for being so stupid not to see the truth all this while. For disregarding Elara's words and feelings and blaming her instead. For being a man who is eas

Author's POVLyra's mouth fell open when she realised that she was still defending her despite the glaring evidence. She didn't give up. She pressed further. Then she remembered Ethan and how they found out that he was in love with Elara. She decided to use that piece of information.“You really need to calm down. What If I told you Ethan and Elara were having an affair too.““What?“ Damian snapped, his heart quickened. “That can't be possible. No…. no. She would never do that.“ Damian stood with his mouth wide open.“Ohhh.“ She folded her arms over her chest. “Why do you think Elara felt so sad when he passed away? Why did you think Ethan betrayed you?“ She said, stepping closer to him.“Lyra, shut up,” Damian snapped.Damian didn't want her to manipulate him again, given everything that has happened in the past. Though, her words were trudging at him. He had thought about it in the past himself but then…..Lyra shrieked, but stopped talking this time. Damian stared at the pictures

AUTHOR'S POV The grand hall was silent, tensed. The elders were seated with a grave expression etched on their aged faces. The king's jaw was clenched tightly that one would think that it would rip apart, his wolf was growling beneath. Kael stood beside him, his heart swelling at how perfectly his plans were unfolding. Elara and Gomez stood at the center of the hall, their heads lowered to the floor like they were at the execution ground, their hearts pounding.Damian's gaze was fixed on her, scanning her with disbelief etched on his face. How can she do this? How can she have an affair with Gomez and even Ethan? The words sounded absurd to him, making him wonder if he didn't really know her like he claims. And now, he doubts if the baby was really his in the first place.Elara could feel the intensity of his piercing gaze even without glancing up. He could feel every single damn thing. His anger. His disappointment. His judgement. They hovered around her like a dark cloud. But sh

Elara's POV “I will crown Lyra as Luna instead.”Those weren't just words. No—far from it. It was a knife piercing through my heart, and ripping it. The words hurt more than I cared to admit, but I swallowed it all.I didn't break down. I didn't say anything. Didn't even act like I heard his decree. I know I have lost my place here and there was no need to fight a lost cause.Lyra.She won.She actually becomes the Luna that she had wanted all this while. She is actually in control now. She wasn't in the hall but I could imagine vividly the confident and triumphant smirk on her face. I could already feel how much she was going to flaunt the title and make my life a living hell. How she would make me feel the heat of everything that had happened between us in the past. But then…. maybe it's high time, she experienced the title she so much desired and see what it's like. And see if it's all rosy.Gomez exchanged a glance with me. His face was so sad and twisted with a quilt like he w
