‡CHAPTER SEVENTY

Delaury's POV “ No need for a corset anyways, your wolf might show signs today” Krystal finished her last touch on my outfit and stepped back to admire her outfit. “ This feels like a human wedding, except we're werewolves” “ Thank you , Krystal,” I said, turning to smile at her. “ Oh stop it Delaury, you're my friend, sister in law and Luna to be “ I laughed as she led me out to the pack grounds. “ The people are actually dressed for this ceremony “ I noted. “ Well yeah, their Alpha is mating today, few that didn't mate will be mating today too” she explained. I nodded and we walked in silence till we got to the mounted podium specially designed for Tristan and I. “ Are you sure the moon goddess will mate Tristan and I together? “ I asked Delaury who shrugged “ don't be thinking like that Delaury, believe and she will make it happen” Talking to Krystal will prove futile, so I decided to be quiet instead. The Omegas danced around a large bonfire in excitement. A slight smile rem

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY - ONE

Delaury's POV Tristan’s words were as sharp as a knife. He was right anyways. “ Why is it delayed? “ An older Delta's wife yelled out. Tristan's grip on my hands was as strong as his biceps. He didn't give me any chance, lest I decided to run away. Which I couldn't. The Jolt's pack was the only pack that could accept me so I had to be here. “ Get the knife! “ Tristan yelled. I saw someone run to get one. “ Why don't we wait? Maybe the moon goddess is delaying for a purpose, “ Tyron's voice cut in with concern. He looked worried and cast weird glances my way. “ Don't talk of this when you have your mate with you, we're doing this once and for all” “ Trist–” “ Beta Tyron, make sure I get a knife this instant!” Tristan ordered and Tyron nodded to get him one. “ Now tell me Brownie, which do you prefer, our blood mixing or something else?” He asked with a wink. I knew something else he was talking about, though our intimate moments have been subtle , I wasn't ready to bear myself

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY -TWO

Delaury's POV The wolf glared at me , not acknowledging Tristan who had already shifted to his wolf. “ Orion? “ I found myself asking. “ That's him? That's Orion Eziele? “ I heard Elaine ask from behind and I nodded. Blood seeped through my palms from Inika’s knife but I didn't bother to look. “ You're bleeding Delaury “ Elaine reached my side with a cloth and tied it around my bleeding palm. “ What do you I do? Why is he here? “ I asked her. She only shrugged with a concerning look. “ To save you of course” “ After all this time? After the rejection? “ “ I don't have answers but all I know is, I'd have you bond with Orion than Tristan, he has a lot of —-” “ Delaury? Are you okay? “ Krystal cut in , examining me for any scar. “ I'm fine just shaken that's all” “ Good, everything will be fine okay, Tristan will take care of that wolf and soon you'll be mating” I wiggled out of her arm in shock. “ That's all you care about? Mating? “ “ You're out future Luna Delaury, it's

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY THREE

Delaury's POV Elaine remained still in front of me as we contemplated running or turning to embrace our fate. “ I won't hurt you, just turn” the voice said and I gave up and turned to look at him. Tyron let out an anxious sigh and smiled. “ I won't stop you, do you have the diamond necklace? “ He asked, stepping closer. Elaine remained still behind me. “ Why are you being so kind to me? “ I asked him. Though we've never had a long conversation, he's been quite protected lately. “ I told you, she said I should look after you” he said, stretching out his palms for me to place the necklace in his hands. “ Oh” “ Turn around Delaury “ he said. I quickly did and he placed the necklace around my neck” “ This will keep you safe,I don't have a map, neither do I have any proper bearings, but go straight, I'm sure you'd be safe that way” he advised .“ Tristan….” “ Will be following you soon if you don't hurry Elaine and I will cover your trails” “ Thank you so much” the sobs finally

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY FOUR;

Orion’s Pov “ Tristan Jolt” I mind- linked to the huge wolf standing before me, his canines as sharp as a blade. “ Orion Eziele” he replied lazily. “ What do you want? ““ You know what I want! “ I replied calmly, our wolves circling each other. My eyes darted to where Delaury was standing and I realized she wasn't there anymore. Israel growled. “ You want her? Tristan stated mockingly. “ It's not news, if you know why I'm here “ I retorted. “ What makes you think she will gladly go with you? “ He teased. I fell silent after that, Ihad no right to be here, but Israel had tortured me here and the dream too. Whatever I needed to save her from. “ She looks scared of you, “ it wasn't a great deflection but I had to. His wolf let out a growl which showed he was laughing at me. “ She's going to be mine, you had her and you let her go! She will be my mate “ “ Her wolf says otherwise” That earned a scowl from him. I knew Israel had felt her wolf when we got here , which means a part

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY- FIVE

Delaury's POV “ She's awake! “ A squeal caused me to squint my eyes a bit as I took in the small room I was in. “ Thankfully, Kenan didn't scare her to death.” I opened my eyes to find the bluest eyes ever staring at me. Her surprisingly long white hair didn't make her an old woman and she reminded me so much of my mom.“ Princess,” she said, “ drink this.” Before I could protest above the name, I took the water and drank it. I wondered how long I'd been out cold. An older man appeared, his jet black her almost looked unreal as he smiled at me with a sheepish look. “ Hi, I'm Uriel, this is my husband, Kenan, I'm sorry he almost scared you to death “ I smiled at both of them. The most beautiful couple I'd ever seen. “ I'm Delaury Mchall “ “ We know Princess, we know,” she let out a knowing smile. “ Call the rest in, they'd like to see her, hope you're okay about that “ I nodded, clearly confused. Weren't they rogues? Why did they look so unreal? Was I dead? “ Oh moon, she's so p

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY- SIX

Delaury's POV “ I can't believe I'll see any of Dominica's children; I thought they all died, “ a red-faced Uriel sobbed, tears brimming her eyes at each word. “ She's a combination of Axel and Dominica,” Polinette said and rubbed her palms on my cheeks. “ How do you know them? “ I asked. They exchanged furtive glances. Slowly Uriel turned and raised her dress up. The lightning mark, a small one from the middle of her spine to her back was imprinted on her back. Slowly they all turned, bearing the same mark. “ You were probably young to discover everything when it happened, but we're known as supernaturals, Princess” Kenan explained. This was getting confusing.Axel and Dominica were our leaders until they were killed, most of us were banished from our various packs because we didn't have our powers anymore after they died.“ Powers, leader? “ I blurted out, more confused than ever. “ Dear, the moon goddess created Supernaturals to be the Alphas and Luna of the pack for greater

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY -SEVEN

Delaury's POV “ Your wolf is beautiful” I called out to Indila, who let out a chuckle and waved to her brother Khan who was obviously looking for us around the lake. She'd taken me for a tour and had shifted to show me her, almost brown striped wolf. “ Thank you, I could teach you how to shift if you want,” she said, taking a seat beside me on the rock. “ The last time I tried that, I almost burnt the place I was standing” I warned and she let out a chuckle. “ Mom thought you'd vanished with Princess,” Khan said . Onyx, mother of both Indila and Khan ,kept to herself most of the time. She'd remained aloof ever since her mate had died during their banishment after the death of my parents. “ Come on, where else would I take her?” Indila giggled. “ Tell me, how is it like to have a mate? “ “ Me? I got rejected before I could get the chance for that experience “ I said, chuckling. “ Oops, sorry about that, I didn't mean to” I waved her apology away. I'd been here for a week and I

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT

Delaury's POV Flashback “ Axel , I warned you not to agree to it” the wolf yelled , pushing Dad off his balance. “ I will not do anything of that sort” “ Agree to it Axel please” the other wolf pleaded, I couldn't decipher he had a weak voice or not. “ I trusted you” I heard Mom grimace quietly, Dana and Delah watched closely whilst I struggled to open my eyes. The discomfort was beginning and I fought the urge to twist and turn. I knew family carried some form of power, but I didn't know what it meant. The room seemed suffocating enough as I tried to stay away. “ You're a —----” My memory felt clogged at that instant, it felt like I was hearing them and now I wasn't. “ Axel! “ I heard Mom tell before the wolf attacked him. “ Dad!” Delah and Dana yelled. Me? I was still fighting my battle between sleep and alertness.End of flashback ★★★“ You look like a mess” Indila stated.“ Don't be rude Indila” Hanson warned. I shook my head “ she's right, I am a mess” I admitted and

‡CHAPTER SEVENTY -NINE

Orion’s POV “ Keep going” Israel growled and I fought the urge to shift and continue my journey on foot. I'd been running since I left the Jolt's pack. Tristan had unleashed some of his wolves to find me but I managed to escape them. Now I was just tired. The wolf's age was as quiet as usual and I hoped I wouldn't meet any rogues. I could fight them off if I had enough strength ,but since I didn't I walked with my eyes foaming around for predators. “ What if we don't find her? Even if we do , will she forgive me? “ I asked Israel. “ We will find her” he said.I noticed how he refused to answer my second question because Delaury had ran when I came for her, what shows she'd be glad if I find her. “DELAURY” Israel yelled. Not that his voice could be heard, I chuckled. “ I don't think this will work “ I j to know I'm looking for her or calling her. I'd slowed my pace now, discomfort seeping through me. I decided to rest now. Technically I was lost. This part of the wolf's age w
